10 best tag teams of all time.

Like my usual lists, for me no particular order, outside of numbers 1 and 2.

1. Road Warriors
2. Midnight Express
3. Rock N Roll Express
4. British Bulldogs
5. Brain Busters
6. Miracle Violence
7. Hart Foundation
8. Dudleyz
9. Steiner Brothers
10. Harlem Heat

I know I've missed quite a few, but your list?

Bad News Gertner 12-06-2018 03:06 PM

The Usos are definitely up there now.

I'd probably go top 10

1. Midnights
2. Stevens and Bockwinkel
3. R&R
4. Hart Foundation
5. Steiners
6. Arn and Tully
7. Road Warriors
8. Usos
9. Freebirds
10. Bulldogs

Evil Vito 12-06-2018 03:28 PM

Usos are definitely in the top 10. New Day could be in contention too purely based on the insane merch numbers.

Destor 12-06-2018 04:08 PM

I find making lists like this impossible. Probably would have anyone from the millennia though if I made one.

Franco Vazquez 12-06-2018 04:13 PM

I think Usos are really underrated just because they are related to Roman. I would bring their old theme back. New Day should be there as well.

Fignuts 12-06-2018 07:42 PM

1.Crush Gals
2. Hansen and Brody
3. The Funks
4. Rock n Roll express
5. Road Warriors
6. TenKoji
7. Arm and Tully
8. Jumping Bomb Angels
9. Fabulous Rougeaus
10. Hart Foundation

Top 4 are mainstays. The rest could switch rank or get replaced on the list depending on my mood.

Fignuts 12-06-2018 07:44 PM

Also my list is more who I like to watch, rather than who is the best objectively. Though you could easily make an argument for Crush Gals being number 1 regardless.

Bad News Gertner 12-06-2018 08:47 PM

If we are going by teams I like to watch

1. Acolytes
2. Dick Murdoch and Adrian Adonis
3. Midnight Express
4. Brody and Hansen
5. Fuji and Saito
6. Hart Foundation
7. The Gangstas
8. Dudleys
9. Usos
10. Judy Martin and Leilani Kai

Sepholio 12-06-2018 08:54 PM

None of you listed The Outsiders. I am ashamed to even know any of you.

That is so fucking hipster I can't even deal. And Rougeaus over Hart Foundation? May you burn in hell.

Man even though they were super important to wrestling as a whole, I feel like their actual matches were pretty forgettable. I can only think of two Outsiders matches off the top of my head. In one, Hulk Hogan turned heel. In the other, Scott Steiner turned heel. So they’re not memorable for anything Hall and Nash did.

I almost put them on my top 10 teams I enjoy watching. Then I started thinking about good Outsider matches, and I blanked lol.

Bad News Gertner 12-06-2018 10:03 PM

Wait, they had a good Triple threat match at a ppv against the Faces of Fear and Nasty Boys

Ol Dirty Dastard 12-06-2018 10:05 PM

Good matches against the Steiners and Harlem Heat, too. Outsiders were decent in the ring until 1998. Hall did the brunt of the work, and Nash worked well as a heavy who came in and laid in some heavy-hitting offence.

Bad News Gertner 12-06-2018 10:07 PM

Nash in WCW....I just can't. I'm no workrate honk by any means, but jesus christ.

A.J.K 12-06-2018 10:41 PM

Just for reference that I listed 10. It's late.

Also, fuck you faggot, those are great tag teams. Sorry they weren't "modern" enough to have fan made music videos set to Disturbed on youtube, like all your favorites.

Bitch.

Nicky Fives 12-07-2018 05:33 AM

Midnight Express
Rock & Roll Express
Road Warriors
British Bulldogs
Edge & Christian
The Hardy Boyz
The Dudley Boyz
Hart Foundation
Harlem Heat
Uso Brothers

This was harder than I thought it would be, had to leave off quite a few great teams off my list (Demolition, Steiners, Freebrids, etc.)

GOT EEM

Ol Dirty Dastard 12-07-2018 10:48 AM

In a sense. Frankly, I was hoping for Fignuts to cut a promo as he's one of the best in the biz. So, in essence, I "got eem".

Fignuts 12-07-2018 12:14 PM

Watch out guys. If your list doesn't match WWE Countdown, Dale will make a stern judgement of your character.

My top 10 tag teams:

1. The Usos
2. New Day
3. Sheamus and Cesaro
4. Lucha House Party
5. The Revival
6. The Ascension
7. AOP
8. Harper and Rowan
9. Enzo and Cass
10. The Vaudvillains

Fignuts 12-07-2018 02:26 PM

Not enough japs and old guys who haven’t wrestled since 1942.

Vastardikai 12-07-2018 02:34 PM

This is why I do these lists. They always take unexpected turns.

Seanny One Ball 12-07-2018 02:55 PM

Chavo and Eddie had the best theme tune.

We Lie We Cheat We Steal

My favourite team was The Acolytes. When they became the APA I loved them more than most of the roster.

The Rockers, Edge And Christian and The Holly's were also fun to watch. Watching any two out of the Radicalz was grand while it lasted. Perry Saturn made up suplexes on the spot.
Farooq had the best Spinebuster in the business and Bradshaw was alright too.

Seanny One Ball 12-07-2018 02:57 PM

I liked Demolition before they added Crush, too but that's just from watching reruns, I wasn't watching WWF back in 1989.

Cool King 12-07-2018 03:00 PM

The lack of Tekno Team 2000 in this thread is outrageous.

Seanny One Ball 12-07-2018 03:02 PM

Head Cheese

Seanny One Ball 12-07-2018 03:02 PM

Tag team most likely to be ignored as a crazy dream

If I could have added a team that doesn't even exist yet, I would have.

Cool King 12-07-2018 03:30 PM

Heath Slater & Apollo Crews.

Watch this space.

Fignuts 12-07-2018 03:34 PM

Heath Slater and Curt Hawkins. Clearly the next power team in wrestling.
