Having a female protagonist would not bother me; I think Rare did a great job with Perfect Dark 64, but it shouldn't be shoehorned in.

I used to like these games but the idea of shooting innocent people from tall buildings and driving cars into crowds of people doesn't seem so fun anymore

Apparently someone who got some kind of insider info from R* themselves is claiming that Grand Theft Auto VI will be set in Vice City and feature a female protagonist. Also that it might not release until 2022.

These are obviously only rumors, so take all that with a grain of salt.

Not really. I mean, TESO aside, all the main entries always take the series to an as-yet unvisited area with each new entry (Vvardenfell in TES III: Morrowind, Cyrodiil in TES IV: Oblivion, and Skyrim in TES V: Skyrim).

I dunno...LC and LS both feel kind of played out now. I'd like to see a modern VC setting or a new, unvisited location, such as a fictional Chicago or Detroit.

I'd like to see the game take place in 2 different times and maybe even 2 different cities... i.e. You start off in Vice City a young man, get busted for 20 years, then get released and move to Liberty City and continue your life of crime as an adult.....

I don't know how old he was at the time, but I know Tommy Vercetti was arrested in Liberty City in 1971 and did 15 years in prison and after his release in 1986, he's sent to Vice City by Sonny Forelli to help on a drug deal, which restarts his criminal career down there and his following rise to power as a criminal kingpin.

I don't really care where its set or if Vercetti or Vice City is involved, I just like the premise of having two distinct time periods as I think there's loads of story paths that you could go with that idea

It would be cool if they did a new city, and all the stuff that everyone wants. And then a year later release a prison add on where you are a prisoner and the ultimate goal is to create a crazy riot and escape.
