Might not include console cross-platform support considering Sony's current stance towards it.

Apparently there might be a lot of pay to play in this game.

I love Borderlands 2, but I feel like i'm being priced out of playing this game.

It fucking sucks.

This is nothing to do with Boarderland.

But I loved Everquest. I was addicted to it and a year ago or so I go back into it because they launched the progression servers that started you from day one. And it was amazing. And there were no huge paywalls. Ya you can buy xp pots and little shit like that, but ultimately there were no major paywalls. It was fantastic.

Games these days have lost track of that. These companies are wanting to make billions off of us. It's no longer creating the best game, its creating the game that extracts the money from our pockets.

I cant stand it. And i'm not sure i'll play Boarderlands 3 despite 2 being one of my favorite games of all time.

In case any interested parties haven't heard, it releases September 13th. Also, for those on PC, I hate to break some possibly deal-breaking news, but it will be exclusive to the Epic Games Store for 6 months until April 2020. Do with that information as you will.

I don't know but apparently it's in high demand, as it sold out in 20 minutes this morning upon pre-order availability.

I mean, TBF, a lot of people thought the loot chest edition would sell for WAY more than $250.

You're not getting it. I dont want that. I want a game. I dont want added paywalls. I want to play a game with people. I dont want to feel like i have to pull a credit card to keep up. It makes me feel stupid andddddddddddddd I cant afford it. I just cant afford it man. These games are pricing me out.

No sense getting upset until we actually know what their marketplace looks like.

Microtransactions aren't inherently bad. They've got a bad name because too many companies have abused them, by either offering pay to win content or providing a game thats very lacking in content while selling additional stuff in it's store.

Some of the "special" editions do seem a bit pay to win, which I'd honestly be fine with, except that 2K and Gearbox have been saying for a while now and in no uncertain terms that BL3 would not feature microtransactions.

Screw it. I'll get that diamond loot box.

Got it the last time for Borderlands 2. Made for a good collector's item to store some stuff.

Yeah I kinda want the chest this time because I missed out on the last one.

Went to go pre-order today and collector's edition chests apparently sold out 2 hours after the announcement. Bummer.

If anyone's still hunting for the $250 collector's edition, Gamestop got them back in stock. Just grabbed one.

Better hurry.

I don't know that I'd call it a "meltdown", per se. He's just a goofball who makes goofy ass posts, which as someone with a pretty skewed sense of humor I totally appreciate and love.

Also, I noticed that (while playing) that they spell Eridium with an "I" (Iridium), just like the real life chemical compound on the Periodic Table of the Elements, as opposed to with an "E" (#OTBTW)

Already determined long ago I'm gonna roll out as Zane.

Always went the gunner class in the first 2 games. Want to try something different this time.

My first main will be Moze, then Amara, and I'll get around to the other 2 when I have the time.

I've always been one of those players of the BL games that I couldn't just play and stick with only being one of the 4 (in the first game) to 6 vault hunters, I have to experience them all. To me personally, only ever playing one character per game is kind of like walking into a Baskin Robbins and getting vanilla every time even though there's 30 other flavors. It would get too boring after a while.
