Good.

If they succeed, its probably going to be due to LU failing to uphold their promises in order to get those lengthy deals done and pulling some possible deception with their handling of Season 4.

Supposedly LU promised both tours and more events in order to entice wrestlers to sign long term deals but then quickly backtracked after holding a couple of tours at most. Even worse was how tapings were handled since supposedly LU also restricted pay outs when it came to appearances for episodes.

Pour out a Modelo for Lucha Underground. They’re done.

This is the worst day.

I echo Figgyms sentiments. Fuck these cunts.

For some reference on how bad LU contracts were for money, supposedly the initial offer LU gave to the Young Bucks to lock them down to a long term deal was around $300 per match. Then it got bumped to $750 per match and then $1250 per match but with no guarantees or downsides included for work. Bucks rejected it since they would be stuck with the possibility of making way less money and be restricted with higher paying indie dates.

This was around the time LU was filling out their initial roster prior to Season 1 and locking down talent to 7 year deals.

I’m unaware of the details of what’s going on in Lucha Underground and so I will refrain from commenting.

Well, no new season.

Mr. Nerfect 02-08-2019 01:03 AM

Ivelisse and Johnny Mundo to AEW.

SlickyTrickyDamon 02-08-2019 01:25 AM

Mundo is already on Impact I don't think he'd have gotten a contract like the others.
