The Jeffers Brothers later became "The Mod Squad" later on. They might have had a squash match against the Mulkeys
did they ride around the ring on vespas?
Lol well it was a biker gimmick
Loved it when Garvin’s jobber took a huge bump off of the phantom punch and they decided to show the replay but just paused it before the punch “connected”.
If we’re watching this blind with no wrestling knowledge of anything before or after these two weeks, Garvin is the MVP, right?
His Lou Costello-esque promo delivery aside.
When's the next time you guys are gonna watch together?
I think every Thursday at 9pm

I reserve the right to do a random Saturday 6:05 show on short notice occasionally as well though. Still testing out which slot brings in a crowd. Number to beat is 4. |
I hope we get more people next time. It was alot of fun.
I will be there next Thursday. Hey guys, what do you say we watch some classic porno's together too? We can star with 1989 classic "The Adventures of Butt Man", also up for 1993's memorable "Wok 'n Roll"!
I started the show on the hour with just myself and rtd watching and I was very concerned that this was all a bust. Seanny’s puns and Gertner’s spur-of-the-moment expertise added a lot.

I haven’t watched wrestling with company for over twenty years.
It does improve the experience. |
Also, I go chronological. If you wanna do the same, let’s dissect Raylene or Bree Olson’s work in a way that we can pick apart their rise and fall both physically and as a performer.
Khrusher Khruschev breaking his leg and finishing the match was something else
Preview coming tomorrow!
This is the preview preview! FUCKING PUMPED! |
I should be on for the next one.
Ronnie Garvin MAY OR MAY NOT be in action.
Given how all the other Horsemen got their shine, I am now of the opinion that Tully Blanchard is the most underrated wrestler of all time.
The Magnum vs Tully cage match about a month before this is a fucking work of art. If I can get a good copy of it somewhere on a site compatible with watch-a-longs, that might be my first Saturday watch-a-long. It’s SO good.
Their I Quit match is by a large margin the best I Quit match of all time
But even then, just on a day to day basis, Tully is so fucking good. |

wait do you guys do this on Zoom or something or just type your thoughts? would be cool to do an actual watch along where we can be on video
Type our thoughts.
We've discussed doing something like that. |
I thought the site we used last time had voice chat but it didn’t seem to work. Gonna try a new site tonight.
By the way, I can confirm that tonight’s show will be KICKING OFF with some hot Garvin-on-jobber action.
Just me this week it looks like. I’ll just post the show here early. Lol

I have been watching a lot 87 World Championship Wrestling on Peacock lately and the format is so good. It's such an easy hour and a half watch. I love the interviews they do right before and after matches. Most of the segments feature the top guys and there's only like 4 or 5 legit angles going on at once. Throw a few squash matches in their to build new talent and that's pretty much it. It's such a perfect format. I'm watching the shows leading up to Ole being kicked out of the horsemen. Dick Murdoch just turned heel and alligned with the Russians. Love it
Dick Murdoch is the greatest. More people need to see him.
his promos are incredible. the 80's guys were a special breed.
Murdoch yelling "shut up you buncha Kayfabers" to the crowd lol
