McLegend 03-10-2015 06:03 PM

Apparently they haven't swapped 1st found picks.

I'm not happy with that.

Nark Order 03-10-2015 06:23 PM

The 49ers are making me depressed.

McLegend 03-10-2015 06:47 PM

Now it's undisclosed draft picks to The Eagles along with Sam Bradford.

I'm still angry

Innovator 03-10-2015 06:48 PM

It's not your fault

Nark Order 03-10-2015 06:51 PM

I'm fairly certain that if Jim Harbaugh had as much power as Chip Kelly does right now, he would have won everything forever.

McLegend 03-10-2015 06:51 PM

What's the point of that trade if it's it not for the 10th pick? Do the jets really want Bradford that bad?

WTF is going on

Sucks he didn't have such a great career being injured all the damn time... hoping now for Mariota or Winston in the draft

McLegend 03-10-2015 07:06 PM

OMG this is one of the worst trades ever

Eagles get Bradford and 5th round draft pick this year, and there is a bunch of conditions and if Bradford gets injured and how many games he plays. It's confusing

Rams get Foles, 4th round pick this year and 2016 2nd round pick.

Innovator, I'm even more mad now.

Droford 03-10-2015 07:26 PM

The Rams also traded for Case Keenum from the Texans

ClockShot 03-10-2015 07:26 PM

The Bradford/Foles swap is a bit of a head scratcher. Figured both would be the future QBs for their respective teams.

Foles I could see landing the starting job in St. Louis. Bradford, I don't know. I think Chip Kelly got something going on.

Droford 03-10-2015 07:30 PM

Bengals signed AJ Hawk

They obviously have a thing for people with Hawk in their name.

Pfft.

Hope when I wake up tomorrow morning Elway pulls something off.

Emperor Smeat 03-10-2015 07:39 PM

Bucs, Bengals, Pats, and Seahawks all interested in Jabaal Sheard. Pats currently having a meeting with him tonight.

Innovator 03-10-2015 08:54 PM

And Revis is going back to the Jets

Colin Kaepernick got put on the trading block by the 49ers today.

Innovator 03-10-2015 09:27 PM

I have the nfl app and its been blowing up all day, madness

SammyG 03-10-2015 09:39 PM

LOLOLOLOL

road doggy dogg 03-10-2015 09:49 PM

what's so funny

Emperor Smeat 03-10-2015 11:16 PM

According to rumors, Jets were practically bidding against themselves today for Revis since nobody else was willing to offer Revis the $40 million guarantee he wanted. Steelers, Packers, and Browns all quickly pulled out once they got the demand while the Pats actually dropped out yesterday but never bothered to mention it to the Jets.

Revis likely got a few extra million from the bluff his agent and/or the Pats pulled on the Jets.

road doggy dogg 03-11-2015 08:15 AM

Apparently the Browns were also interested in Bradford... who knew there'd be a market coming off two ACL injuries

Evil Vito 03-11-2015 10:04 AM

Of the 5 players the Giants signed yesterday, all of them project to be backups. All received multi-year deals for a fair bit of guaranteed money.

Vereen will play a big role in the offense, but everyone else? I don't know. Dwayne Harris is a good special teams but the other three just seem to be depth and nothing else...the lineman they got (Marshall Newhouse) got benched by Green Bay for sucking a couple years ago and the consensus in Cincy is that he wasn't very good either.

Not sure what Reese is doing. He needed to have a good draft anyway because it's been proven throughout history that free agent spending sprees rarely amount to much in the NFL, but in this case it seems like he's spending good money on guys who won't have much of an impact on the field just for the sake of spending money. Clearly he sees something in them but it's still a head scratcher.

Innovator 03-11-2015 10:09 AM

In Reese We Trust....?

Clerk 03-11-2015 10:34 AM

Buster Skrine to sign with Jets? Why not stay with the Browns. Going from playing with the best CB in the league (Joe haiden) To going to play with the second (Darrelle Revis) Why?

I guess. On one hand it's tough to question a guy with 2 rings who had the team consistently in playoff contention until 2013.

Still, I think he's easily the biggest culprit for last year being as bad as it was. The OBJ pick will probably wind up getting him several years of job security though. Plus there's the whole team policy on not firing General Managers ever.

Innovator 03-11-2015 11:37 AM

I just want him to get some competent guys for the o-line. That's all I want in the offseason.

Evil Vito 03-11-2015 11:45 AM

Yeah, I'm still really hoping they go with O-line at #9 overall. The only downside I've heard is that scouts are torn on a lot of the top tackles in the draft, saying many of them project more as guards. Frankly though I always found the reasoning for not drafting interior linemen early to be a bit daft if it really is your most clear weakness.

I can't lie though, the thought of teaming up Amari Cooper with Cruz, OBJ, and Randle definitely had me intrigued. Randle is in his walk year and you don't know how Cruz will be coming back from injury, so it could be jstified. Gotta imagine the Harris signing takes that out of contention.

Innovator 03-11-2015 12:15 PM

Ryan Fitzpatrick to the Jets

poopfromweiner dude 03-11-2015 12:36 PM

YES

poopfromweiner dude 03-11-2015 12:36 PM

Wasn't there a Grantland article "proving" that he is the worst QB of all time who has ever started 50+ games or something

I don't care, I LOVE Ryan Fitzpatrick

Ruien 03-11-2015 01:01 PM

Still better than Geno.

Evil Vito 03-11-2015 01:39 PM

lol Chip Kelly said he was offered a first round pick for Bradford today. What a lie.

SlickyTrickyDamon 03-11-2015 02:18 PM

I think Chip is gonna have to work on his Quack soon.

Innovator 03-11-2015 04:16 PM

Andre Johnson is now a Colt

Ruien 03-11-2015 04:21 PM

COLTS BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We are going to STOMP the Pats this year. Still worried about Seattle but maybe Green Bay or Arizona will knock them out of the playoffs.

Nark Order 03-11-2015 04:24 PM

I regret to inform you that the San Francisco 49ers are going to defy all odds and win the Superbowl

Nark Order 03-11-2015 04:25 PM

I should get a tattoo

Ruien 03-11-2015 04:26 PM

Wait, you guys still have a full football team?

Nark Order 03-11-2015 04:30 PM

No. Kaepernick, Anquan Bolden, Chris Borland, and Torrey Smith are just going to play every position and hope for the best.

road doggy dogg 03-11-2015 04:47 PM

Colts offense looks real scary/good right now

Andre and T.Y. on the outside, Moncrief as #3. Gore starting and "Boom" playing change-of-pace... Luck orchestrating the whole thing.
