Joey Gallo coming up with the bases loaded. Hes already 3 for 3 with a Double and Homer in his debut.

screech 06-02-2015 10:25 PM

Holy shit the Phillies won!

Droford 06-02-2015 11:15 PM

Apparently Giancarlo Stanton doesn't follow etiquette rules when it comes to eating KitKats. Only supposed to eat one at a time in a respectful manner and instead Stanton devours a huge chunk of the bar per bite.

Droford 06-03-2015 12:17 AM

Give me a bite, give me a bite, bite me off a piece of that kit Kat bar

screech 06-03-2015 06:21 AM

He would probably still hit homeruns with a racket

road doggy dogg 06-03-2015 08:36 AM

Even though I know it's just a fun playful thing, just hearing the words "KitKat etiquette", coupled with last night's discussion on ketchup on hot dogs, and it makes me really wonder what kind of fucked up priorities people have with eating such shit foods that they need to take such things to heart.

On Monday, Andrew Cashner became the first player to collect double digit strikeouts while giving up at least 10 hits in fewer than 5 innings.

Then yesterday, Noah Syndergaard did the exact same thing. So something that had never happened before in the history of baseball happened on consecutive days and in the same series.

Baseball is such a fucked up sport.

road doggy dogg 06-03-2015 09:06 AM

I liked when a couple years ago Aaron Hill hit two cycles in the same week and that wasn't even the fastest two cycles a player has hit before

Frank Drebin 06-03-2015 09:28 AM

That Cashner line was pretty much par for the course for him when he was a prospect. That's why I was so surprised when they gave up Rizzo for him.

ClockShot 06-03-2015 08:23 PM

Mariners and D-Backs just pulled off a 6-player deal.

Mariners get: Mark Trumbo and Vidal Nuno.

D-Backs get: Wellington Castillo, Dominic Leone, Gabby Gurrero, and Jack Reinheimer.

Bad News Gertner 06-03-2015 10:59 PM

Lol Alex Rios

Shisen Kopf 06-04-2015 07:07 AM

How many games in a row can the Tigers lose? 37? In a row??

RoXer 06-04-2015 03:56 PM

The Astros are demolishing the hill in centerfield which is the dumbest fucking thing I've heard. That stadium is so cool and unique, one of the most under rated stadiums in the league and they're going to take away its features to add more empty seats.

road doggy dogg 06-04-2015 04:14 PM

I went to a game in Houston last summer and thought that was the stupidest fucking thing I've ever seen. Good riddance.

screech 06-04-2015 04:19 PM

Good. That hill is so dumb.

Droford 06-04-2015 04:46 PM

They aren't going to raze it they're going to raise it

Nicky Fives 06-04-2015 04:58 PM

to be honest, you only ever see like one ball a year even hit the hill anyways.....

RoXer 06-05-2015 11:52 AM

God forbid stadiums be unique and interesting

screech 06-05-2015 12:22 PM

It is interesting that someone would think it was a good idea to put a fucking hill in the middle of the outfield.

The hill is one thing.

The random flagpole in play was always dumber to me

Droford 06-05-2015 03:43 PM

Also Matt Wieters is back..woo

RoXer 06-05-2015 04:56 PM

#LGS are most assuredly looking for a new home for the 2016 season.

Chris Archer doesn't swing that way

Frank Drebin 06-05-2015 10:55 PM

Cubs really wish Hendry hadn't traded him. They'll be looking for that #2 starter type this off season .

Evil Vito 06-06-2015 12:54 AM

Jon Niese is so goddamn infuriating to watch. The second he gives up one hard-hit ball he just completely melts down.

#WeWantMatz

DaveWadding 06-06-2015 02:41 AM

Pat Venditte made it to the major leagues finally. Dude is a switch pitcher. The 1st in MLB in probably 100 years. Crazy stuff.

ClockShot 06-06-2015 07:05 AM

Why is Esmil Rogers still with the team, Joe Girardi?

Evil Vito 06-06-2015 09:26 AM

Venditte turns 30 by month's end. Can't believe it took that long for him to make it to the bigs. He had some really good seasons in the minors.

Droford 06-06-2015 09:38 AM

He should throw 2 pitches as the same time and if you can hit both you get a multiplier

Damian Rey 06-07-2015 01:17 AM

Padres come back to beat the Reds 9 to 7. Former Reds prospect Yonder Alonso hit a slam to tie it, while Matt Kemp seemed to have traveled back to April 2015 and brought back his bat.

Nice to see the Padres actually face some mediocre teams. Thought I read they had the second toughest strength of schedule in the league.

road doggy dogg 06-07-2015 01:48 AM

David Price doing David Price thing

Tigers end their 8 game skid :|

Nicky Fives 06-07-2015 04:44 PM

Jays walkoff to sweep Astros!!!!

Bad News Gertner 06-07-2015 05:10 PM

Colabello is on fire! 16 game hit streak

ClockShot 06-07-2015 06:25 PM

Yankees with their 2nd straight sweep today. Turned it back around nicely after a horrible mid/late May.

Frank Drebin 06-07-2015 10:44 PM

Didn't realize that Nats mascot is named Screech

Evil Vito 06-08-2015 03:23 PM

lollllllllllllllllllllllll now Infante is less than 150,000 votes away from Altuve, Morales has passed Cruz at DH, and Rios has passed Adam Jones for the 4th OF spot. The 4 highest vote totals in all of baseball are Royals. Looking very possible that the AL starting lineup will be 8 Royals and Mike Trout.

At this point I almost want it to happen because it might make Manfred realize that fan voting is a farce. Or at the least, limit votes to 1 per IP address. Some of the leads are crazy enough though that I'm willing to bet there is some sort of hacking algorithm going on.

I don't know, don't they like beg and plead you to vote "35 times a day!" or whatever it is? Seems like this is almost by design.
