I actually really like it. I don't need another generic sounding "epic" track on my superhero trailers. This and Thor Ragnarok's Zepplin trakler stand out a lot more to me.

In terms of solo films, haven't been this interested since the first Iron Man film. Then again haven't watched Doctor Strange yet and it is supposed to be really good.

There are in fact rap tracks with more symphonic flair. The tracks for this and the teaser sound really cheesy and poser-ish. Rza, Em, Dre, and Andre3000 could make cinematic rap music. Listen to Blade 3's credits theme 'Fatal'.

I think the synth backing track fit the trailer, revealing high tech futuristic Wakanda

Reviews are coming out and it's sitting on an 87 currently at Metacritic. A lot of people are calling out the visuals/CGI being a few notches above Doctor Strange.

Will have to see that for myself. Nothing in the trailers stood a chance against Dr Strange's wild visuals. It is easily the MCU's most visually stunning movie.

Loved it!

Overall it was really solid. On pure story i want to say its an 8 and the cgi was criminally poor that i cant.

Killmonger was ace. Top 3 marvel villain easy.

Andy Circus was really good as well.

The whole cast was strong.

The score caught me most off guard. Expected a rap heavy sound track but ot was a strong orchestral score that fit the culture at the same time.. really phenomenal.

There were several oners that were ace

White Gorrilla pissed me off a bit but thats the only realy gripe out side of the CARTOONISHLY BAD CG.

Actually, I'll see it on the 26th; I'm going to see The Shape of Water, instead, tomorrow.

Saw it yesterday. Played in the biggest room of out theater and it was close to half full for the screening at 4. Heard the worker tell the kid in front of us that they ran out of the commemorative popcorn buckets already, so that's gotta be a good sign.

Overall, movie was great. No complaints whatsoever, a bit weird seeing Michael B. Jordan play a bad guy, but he did a great job.
