Remember that time? 13 awesome squared circle moments you may have forgotten

We’ve seen it all, yet specific and peculiar moments have stuck with us. And with WWE Network now available, we can relive these highlights. They’re funny, weird, underrated or just plain unforgettable. For some reason, though, they’ve made an emotional connection and a home in our minds and now we’re finally kicking them out — for your entertainment of course!

Observer also states WWE and Sting have officially signed a deal but won't be showing up any time soon and it includes tv dates.

Have I mentioned how much I love this guy? TPWW should be 100% Y2J friendly.

Lock Jaw 04-10-2014 09:56 PM

lol TNA. Samoa Joe has been trying to get a one on one "fair shot" at Magnus for months, and MVP has just been doing weird stuff to "try to make it fair" like chaining Abyss to himself at ringside, and booking a four way match....

Eric Young gets a title shot and he is just like "Abyss is barred from ringside, and anyone who comes out is fired"

Seems like decision making like that would have helped him to give Samoa Joe his fair shot.

I love Y2J. He's quite the character on his podcast. Not to mention the repetition of his stuff so that nobody misses out on it. So considerate :)

Lock Jaw 04-10-2014 10:19 PM

I hope Samoa Joe calls MVP out on it.... just like "What the hell, bro?"

You know, instead of complaining about it, you could just not listen. Just a suggestion ;)

Why does Vince hate the idea of Wargames so much? If this isn't the perfect setup for a Wargames match, I don't know what is.

Lock Jaw 04-10-2014 11:03 PM

- He didn't create it
- One more ring = less seats = less monay

Razzamajazz 04-10-2014 11:06 PM

a team elimination chamber seems more feasible

TNA:

SPOILER: show
TNA just had an unlikely bearded underdog rassle twice in one night, winning the world title while selling a shoulder injury. I think I saw something like that last week.

Mike Chioda is the official "Party Ref" of the WWE. He is the only referee to have been suspended for violating WWE's Wellness Policy and he has several interesting photos when you google him.

Sting (Steve Borden) has agreed to terms on a deal with WWE according to a report by Dave Meltzer in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter. He's deal includes appearances on WWE television. Whether or not they will be regular remains to be seen. As reported on earlier, Sting has been in talks with WWE for some time after his deal with TNA expired last year. He had stated publicly that he wanted to work a match with The Undertaker at Wrestlemania. With that now likely not to happen, what plans WWE has for him now going forward remains to be seen.

To me right now, physical size and look, which has probably been a huge deal for more than a century in the business, has never meant less because fans know it’s a work and who are real tough guys doesn’t matter. Nobody, and I mean nobody, ever asks if it was real or who would win between guys in pro wrestling, or goes with the idea that even though wrestling matches aren’t real, that pro wrestlers, if it was real would be the toughest guys in a fight. Still, you can see the company mentality, because whenever they have a press conference, they bring in the Divas and dress them up but just use them as greeters, and the usual crew is Khali, Show, Henry, Cena, HHH, and then often Del Rio (for someone to speak Spanish) although now Bryan has to be added just because he’s such a signature star.

Following the main roster call-ups of Adam Rose and Bo Dallas, WWE's plan is to bring Sami Zayn and The Ascension tag team up next.

TNA talents continue to be nervous because nothing has been announced regarding a renewal of TNA's contract with Spike TV. There is talk that one of the reasons they are going into the expensive New York market for tapings this summer is because it's a way to impress Spike officials that they are still looking to improve and that the Northeast audience will come across more rabid on TV.

According to PWI, Chris Saban is leaving TNA once his current contract is done (around August).
