Just looks hokey to me. I have not read all of Thor, but speaking from a strictly visual sense I'm not feeling it
I dig it. Could be worse.

No. Come on dude. There are more than 2 options. This movie could be bomb deluise. Who knows? I'm just saying that I'm not digging the look. Just like I wasn't when the first pics of Thor came out.
I feel the same about the Spidey and X-Men reboots, but I'm also not a huge pessimist because I look forward to and praise plenty of "Marvel news" that comes out. Not trying to hate here. I feel like most negative reaction in comic threads is taboo. |
I wanted the horns at least in some fashion.
Probably will still get them. Thor's helmet is in and we havn't seen it yet. Possibly the same deal with Loki.
Apparently Mark Ruffalo is close to being named the new Hulk.

Fair enough. I guess I would be more fond of something a bit more medieval and rustic. It's all a bit too futuristic and Ultimates to me.
Seriously, if some fruitcup in green and gold pyjamas with a prissy accent was threatening the world with mass chaos, most people would laugh.
I think the thing I miss most from Thor's costume is the helmet

"There's gonna be a new one," Cage told Ferguson after the host presented him with a model of a flaming skull, "I just made the deal today."

Woo for horns.

Reminds me of Masters of The Universe
That's a pretty epic picture.
And a huge fucking set.
awesome!
Lol I remember when people thought Triple H was gonna play Thor.
"Loki-uhhh, thy time is at an end-uhhh! Prepare thyself-uhhh, for tonight-uhhh Thor smites thee for the final time-uhhh!"
Wasn't gonna happen. |
"Art thou ready? I sayeth unto thee: art thou ready?"

Definitely built like a Norse God.
Yeah I retract any statements I made about this guy not being big enough to play Thor.
he's on the juice
No doubt!

Joss Speaks About Avengers:

Jennifer Lawrence talks about being the new Mystique:
“When I got the part I dedicated a whole day to watching all three movies, and I really liked them. I was still a little worried, because I didn’t really understand the whole mutant thing. But the script cleared some of my questions up, and knowing that James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender were already on board gave me confidence.” She had meetings with Vaughn and Co. in London this week. Today, it”s “I have to do 12 hours of prosthetics. Oh man. “I have to take Mystique back to the beginning, before she became who we saw later. I don’t know exactly what I can talk about, but this is going to be fun.” She says the prep work is physical, which knowing Mystique’s image, we can believe. Gym time. How does she look in blue? “NOBODY looks good blue. Well, maybe Zoe Saldana. I am very curious to see how I’m going to come off in that suit.” |
Honestly have no interest whatsoever in the new x-men movie.
When does Fox lose the license?
After their first bomb. X-movies print money.
Is that the actual agreement? Sounds fucked up. Figured it would be "X amount of films or Y point in time, whichever happens first"
It's been over a decade, man.
Well, if they were licensed for say 10 films, it would take over a decade to put them all out.
I was hoping the franchise would switch hands after X3 (as much as I love Hugh, Patrick, and Ian). Along with Spidey after Spidey 3 so they could be included in Marvel Films grander plans.
Neither happened. |
I mean, you'd figure they'd want to use the New Avengers somewhere down the line (3rd or 4th Avengers movie, maybe?), which means they'd need Spider-Man and Wolverine free to join the team.
