Update: Nia Jax & Stevie Ray come for Dave Meltzer

@davemeltzerWON is a piece of shit. Nia Jax is the shits.

RP 03-09-2019 04:55 PM

I'm pretty sure Dave Metzler is not bound by the Hippocratic oath so if he did obtain any medical records, it would be a violation for whoever gave them to him, and just questionable etichs on Metzlers part.

Seanny One Ball 03-09-2019 05:02 PM

It has nothing to do with the hippocratic oath. It's data protection.
HIPAA stands for Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act.

thats true. I'm confusing the two. I dont think he's bound by HIPPA.

You're disgusting.

Send pics to confirm disgust

Seems the whole issue centers around people thinking Meltzer actually said or implied Reigns is faking his cancer in a recent Observer Radio episode which wasn't the case. He's been more outspoken towards those who think this is just an elaborate ruse by WWE to get fans to cheer Reigns.

Also seems he either got bad medical advice regarding chemo pills or whoever told him didn't think its that effective for a quick recovery and managing of the disease while also staying active as a wrestler.

slik 03-09-2019 08:30 PM

It's all Ryan Satin's fault, he started it by posting this:

Speculating about storylines, upcoming matches and locker room “heat” is one thing ... but Meltzer saying Roman isn’t telling the truth about his cancer treatment is not ok. Many take his word as gospel and to speculate on such a matter is irresponsible.

pic.twitter.com/O2zdYtMIhH
— Ryan Satin (@ryansatin) March 9, 2019

DAMN iNATOR 03-10-2019 04:06 AM

LOL, the irony in Nia calling someone else a piece of shit when she's notoriously dangerous in the ring is just too delicious.

ClockShot 03-10-2019 07:43 AM

Bad as this is sounding, Meltzer has a bit of a point.

I'm no medical expert or anything. But, is it normal/on-track/average that leukemia could be in remission after 4 months since his announcement? It does sound funky unless there's treatment out there that really kicks some ass.

I've had family members and friends go through a year plus of chemotherapy. Some beat it, others not so lucky.

you got kicked out of basic training/boot camp (something of that ilk) for not knowing what to do with a grenade after pulling the pin. i wish that was a joke, but alas, it isn't. does your dad chew your food for you too?

ooooo link please?

Ruien 03-10-2019 11:01 AM

You wont get kicked out of bootcamp for not throwing a grenade.

Wehttam 03-10-2019 11:27 AM

hey, i will admit i am wrong. he did not get 'kicked out' for that. my bad. you win this one, Ruien.

he just flunked so it was probably a comedy of errors

And, just FYI, I did have one experience that was pretty terrifying...during the day we trained with hand grenades. My stupid ass started what they call "cooking off" a grenade, i. e. pulling the pin out and then not immediately throwing the damn thing. Luckily someone was there to grab my hand and throw the fucking thing or I'd have probably been minus at least a few digits, maybe my whole hand. It doesn't excuse it, but I think I just froze/tensed up with fear or something when it came to be my turn to demonstrate that I knew how to toss a freaking hand grenade. It was horrible in the moment, but I can at least look back now and be glad I didn't lose any fingers or my hand.

There were other factors too, but I honestly don't give a fuck anymore since it was 20 years ago this summer/fall.

In my defense though, I did take everything the gas chamber could throw at me like a champ. It had 0 effect on me, and literally everyone else was gagging/vomiting/had red eyes/snotty noses/trouble breathing...was honestly pretty funny listening to the D.I. ream everyone else out instead of me for once.

RP 03-10-2019 01:37 PM

wait.

You just pull the pin , throw/release the lever. How did you not know that?

Ruien 03-10-2019 02:07 PM

I think we should all be proud that DAMN has actually had a job and received a legit paycheck. Congrats DAMN.

Yeah, everyone has at least thought of it. A couple years ago it would have been just that. A passing thought. But after the Saudi Arabia stuff, I'm not sure I'd put this past them.

This is really dumb... totally mischaracterizing what Meltzer said...

Been listening to Meltzer audio shows lately and what this guy says is right...

taking this out of context man. meltzer has been pretty adamant about the seriousness of romans illness. all he’s saying is that the pill isn’t technically “chemotherapy”
— pat. Mr. Nerfect 03-10-2019 05:07 PM

Nia Jax is a piece of shit.

Tom Guycott 03-10-2019 11:03 PM

Totally misunderstood the context of the thread title. I thought it was another Paige situation.

slik 03-11-2019 09:59 AM

While I do like Dave, I wanted to add his messageboard is really creepy. It's full of people who will defend every small thing he says, right or wrong, to the death, in multi-page threads. It's sort of like a cult where he is this infallible leader, who is the authority on everything, and is not to be questioned.

Mr. Nerfect 03-11-2019 04:36 PM

There is no group creepier than the Reddit page that worships Bruce Prichard, of all people.

slik 03-11-2019 04:44 PM

What reddit page is that? It's not squared circle, haven't seen any of that there really.

Mr. Nerfect 03-11-2019 05:32 PM

I can’t remember. I avoid it. I think they might have spread throughout the rest of the internet. These people do exist though. Literally think that because someone was there, they must be telling the truth.

Bad News Gertner 03-11-2019 06:02 PM

Lol reddit just destroys poor David Bixenspan

Mr. Nerfect 03-11-2019 06:22 PM

Haha, what’s wrong with Bix?

Bad News Gertner 03-11-2019 08:27 PM

Lol Google David Bixenspan reddit and you'll see. They are brutal oh him.

Mr. Nerfect 03-11-2019 09:28 PM

Jesus. It seems no one can really explain the hate though. They just think he’s a twat.

Innovator 03-12-2019 09:56 AM

Army dropped grenades from basic last year since the recruits weren't strong enough.

Bix says really stupid things at times. He also makes mountains out of molehills a lot.

WWE Hall of Famers are determined by votes?

I thought Vince and a small circle of voices was the be all end all for that.

Fignuts 03-12-2019 07:41 PM

Well this induction is for Harlem Heat as a unit. Say what you will about Stevie as an individual performer, but Harlem Heat were one of the top tag teams during one of the most important eras in wrestling history. I’m fine with this induction.

slik 03-12-2019 07:45 PM

I only wish Sister Sherri was included w/ them

Seems to be the default excuse from wrestlers and others whenever anyone criticizes WWE's Hall and its legitimacy.

If he's also throwing shade at the Observer's Hall of Fame, only reason Harlem Heat is not in that one is due to its more tougher voting process.
