Yes - 6/4

Thing I don't understand about odds is why would people bet on "YES" if it costs them more than they win back?

Also going to pick No, 0, Over, and No as my odds bets

CSL 04-06-2014 04:22 PM

that's exactly the point, to deter you from betting/to make it not worth your while

I think 6/4 means for every 400 bet, they stand to win 600. So in that case, you actually win more than you bet.

That reminds me, if anyone puts a bet on one of the odds I posted, I get a cut of the winnings as I did bring the odds to your attention. :shifty:

Seeing the title of the video and the thumbnail for it, I legitimately thought Sting was going to sing.

theexample 04-06-2014 04:49 PM

No. At 6/4, if you bet 400, you'd get 600 back PLUS your 400 stake so you'd have 1000, 600 of which would be winnings. I used to work in a betting shop.

CSL 04-06-2014 04:49 PM

totes would have bought you a deep fried Mars bar, don't think I'm gonna bet tho, Hogan's in the best "aesthetic" shape he's been in for a few years. He's def going to leave it on now tho since I'm not going to

Corporate CockSnogger 04-06-2014 04:59 PM

I'd def bet on it if I had a betfair account. Can't be bothered making one.

I'd also bet on Batista winning the world wrestling wwe world heavyweight wrestling wwe championship

Just thinking aloud here: Have we seen Teddy Long recently? I thought I heard someone mention him last night during the HoF, but they didn't show him.

Is his contract over?

From ADAge.com:
WWE Network said Monday that it has 667,287 paying subscribers since bowing in February, and predicts it will reach its goal of 1 million users by the end of the year.

VSG 04-07-2014 12:38 PM

Wow that's 6. 7 million a month already. Assuming 150k people ordered PPVs for $50 each (very likely much lower), they are already close to breaking even with the PPV crowd.

Based on the deals with the cable/dish companies, WWE only gets 40% of the PPV amount.

Razzamajazz 04-07-2014 06:49 PM

there was alot of talking going on between taker and lesnar, maybe lesnar was trying to call the match after the concussion?

CSL 04-07-2014 06:51 PM

heard Lesnar at least twice ask "what's next"/"what are we doing" etc so dunno, most noticeably "what's next, Tombstone?" right before Taker hit it
