Well... maybe Barry Horowitz but that's it
|
I saw Virgil outside the Super Dome before WM but he was in a mood and waved people away...I would have paid Virgil like 5 bucks for a photo if he wanted tbh b/c it's Virgil
|
Dude if you offered Virgil 10 bucks he'd have taken the money 100%. The man is a grifter.
|
Before WM this year Noelle Foley was trying to sell $250 tickets to eat lunch w/ her and Frank The Clown and I guess tickets had a hard time moving so they underestimated how much neckbeards were desperate in that instance
|
lol so pretty much we'd only pay money ironically to maligned nobodies. I'd pay 50 bucks to Horace Hogan for a pic with his autograph as long as it said
"To my biggest fan Dale Best wishes, Horace Hogan" |
I'd give Tatanka 20 dollars
#BUFFALO |
I'd let him know that he's still undefeated in my heart.

From what I know, he's actually pretty hated by a lot of the IWC. If it was lunch with just Noelle, those neckbeards would be all over that offer in a heartbeat. |

My take on the bumping Izzy thing... not for me, very risky and not worth the reward. I feel the same about Omega or The Bucks wrestling kids too but for some reason I feel this bumping Izzy is even worse.

Watching a 1986 June 27th Boston Garden show this morning
Typical shit WWF undercard Haku vs Pete Doherty Hatley Race vs Tony Atlas (would have been an awesome match in 1980) Tiger Cheung Lee and Les Thornton vs Dan Spivey and Mike Rotunda Moondog Spot vs Pedro Morales Billy Jack Haynes vs Moondog Rex Things are finally picking up with Steamboat vs Jake in a decent match and Hogan vs Savage for the WWF Title in a great match. Final matches were Bundy vs Jyd and Orndorff vs Muraco in a much better match than their Wrestlemania 2 match . Pretty meh show. |
It's really easy to fall asleep to those old WWF cards. I usually never make it to the main event.
|
Lol oh God, I love them. It's mostly all I watch. When they stop having shitty undercard in 1987 they lose their charm
|
BTW on the smell of the general wrestling fan. I'm certain that the washing of clothes is right up there with the act of personal bathing. I often smell BO sure but mostly it's just the smell of dirty clothes that wafts unto my nostrils that sends me reeling.

Sami is 100% right. Without Cyndi there's no Wrestlemania.

The big payoff to Cena's hyped up debut of a "6th Move of Doom" ended up being just a backhanded punch to the head.

Kinda warms my heart to see Cena wrestling. Only his second match since Mania. He is missed.

I've just finished watching the first Raw and SmackDown since the change from WWF to WWE as I menationed last week, I'll be watching Raw and SmackDown from then to make my Sunday's less boring.
Raw: Either I don't remember this because I was a kid at the time or it was edited out when it was shown in the UK but I don't remember there being so much strong swearing. I remember the usual "ass" "son of a bitch" and so on but on Raw, I don't remember Ric Flair saying "Tough Shit" to the nWo and Regal calling Spike a "shitehawk" (which by the way, I found hilarious). Another thing that humoured me was everyone tripping over the new name. To this day, the Booker T & Goldust skits are still fantastic and I don't think they'll come a day where they're not. I've realised that Ric Flair's office is more "authentic" than what you get now, as it doesn't have WWE related posters plastered all over the place and a big screen with the Raw logo on it with red lights everywhere. It makes every week just that little bit different and realistic compared to Raw now where every week, Kurt Angle looks to be in the exact same room week in and week out. I've also realised that the backstage segments come across as being more "believable" as they have wrestlers in the same area but not necessarily interacting with each other as was shown with Undertaker & nWo and later Undertaker & Kevin Nash. Planet Stasiak got a lot of TV time back then. I do like a bit of Stasiak every now and then. I don't really remember the WWE's tagline being "World Wrestling Entertainent: New Look, Same Attitude". I forgot that this was the episode of Raw where Hogan botched riding Undertaker's motorcycle and much like I mentioned before, I don't remember Hogan constantly saying "shit" during his backstage segment with Undertaker's motorcycle. For some reason, they censored Hogan saying "shit" but not Flair and Regal. There was a great example of Lawler's quick wit during the swimsuit competition between Molly Holly and Terri. Molly (to Terri): You're dressed like a stripper! You might aswell put a pole in the middle of the ring. Lawler: Wait a minute, I can find a pole alright! That joke went right over my head as a kid. For me, I think a two man announce team is better and easier to listen to as you don't have one guy constantly shouting abuse to another like you do with a three man team. Example's being JBL and Graves shouting abuse to Saxton almost constantly and sometimes Coachman. SmackDown: There's a moment during the opening segment where Tazz says something on commentary, then there's about three seconds of silence and then he speaks again, but he sounds completely different which makes me think Tazz was brought into WWE HQ after SmackDown to either record new dialogue or re-record some lines. I wasn't expecting to hear Michael Cole & Tazz take shots at The World Wildlife Fund because of the name change. It was obvious it was ordered from Vince. I forgot that D-Von holds a singles victory over Triple H in singles action. I'm sure they used a some kind of royalty free sound effect of a bell ringing to start off the Orton/Storm match. Finally, a sign during Jericho's entrance that is one of many wrestling signs showing bad grammar: https://s22.postimg.cc/5ret14qgx/image.png |
Planet Stasiak is the greatest. One of my favourite gimmicks.
Didn't they have a 15 minute Hardcore Title Scramble match or something to start Raw so Lillian Garcia could say "World Wrestling Entertainment or WWE" over and over again? |
Yeah, they did exactly that.

How come no one is talking about this gem? Vampiro thinks his headset is off and is screaming for "his fucking music" to be played at Triplemania. LOL at Matt Striker covering for him and his unprofessionalism by calling him the ultimate professional who waits for his cue.

Kind of feel sorry for Striker after that show. Dude was in the dark on most things and Vampiro was very vague with his translations. Vamp also left commentary many time throughout the show to talk to fans and other things.

Also a bit funny when you think about it on how WWE purposely trashed the prestige of the Universal belt and Lesnar as champ just to find another desperate way to get Reigns over with crowds as a face. |

It was the English feed, nobody cared. I thought as they show went on they just got worse and worse. Biggest problem was not acknowledging the story with the heel ref. This moment was pretty damn funny. Vamp was right though, they aren't on cue at all. |
