According to Pro Wrestling Sheet, no deal has been signed between Eminem and WWE.

There were some early talks but it never progressed beyond that point nor are there plans for talks to resume any time soon or at all.

There was a very brief, exploratory conversation that involved a third party and 2K Sports, not Eminem’s team. It has not gone beyond preliminary discussions, and any reports to the contrary are false. Right now there are no plans to further pursue it.

According to Fightful, Pro Wrestling Sheet's report of Fightful's report being wrong is incorrect and a deal has actually been signed between the two sides.

Fightful also stated Eminem's group were very upset once they found out about this deal being leaked early and why they responded claiming there was no deal.

I’m not sure how serious the talks got, but I’m sure that around 2004/2005 there was talk about doing something between Cena and Eminem that never materialized.
