I'm not sure whether the female talent in the UK just hasn't has as many opportunities until recent years but seems to be lagging a bit behind. A few good ones, but most of those already snapped up by WWE over the pond.

Mandrews has an annoying character, but I guess he's alright.

Hopefully Joe Coffey comes in and wrecks all of this.

Wolfgang says he's been waiting for a year to get his hands on Adam Cole. The NXT NA title is roughly three months old.

Doesn't come across on TV just how over Cole was on the night. BAYBAY chants started before the show.

Spoke to a Scottish guy in the pub after the tournament who was properly fuming about the crowd booing Wolfgang :lol:

The Velveteen Dream theme is often stuck in my head.

EC3 is ridiculously ripped. Getting to that stage where even his muscles have their own muscles.

Not sure if the WWE intended it (or if they ever manage anything they ever intend) but they've struck absolute gold with Velveteen Dream.

Honestly thought going into the tournament they would move the title off Dunne to move him on to bigger and better things, but happy with that result.

Can see him being used to establish the UK division for the first few months before becoming more full time NXT instead.

Hopeful for an NXT title run one day. Guy is good enough to do it.

Didn't watch this tournament "live" on the Network and only seen Night 1 so far but did like how the Quarterfinals matches got more time to work with and felt less rushed than last year's tournament. Semis still had the same problem of one match being too short.
