Dunno. Generally like Matthew Vaughan.... and huge fan of the first Kingsman movie.... also enjoyed the second no matter how terrible Seanny One Ball says it is.... it did have a lot of issues with it, though.....

Feel like a prequel set in the "past" might feel "unnecessary" and "lose its charm".

Will wait and see about this one....

My only issue with it thus far is an overarching issue plaguing Hollywood for the last number of years; not merely just nixing numbered sequels, but overall going with the shitty naming conventions that are in no way future proof. Unless you are already aware of The Kingsman as a franchise, you would have little to no idea that this is related, let alone the third movie. A teaser trailer with the reveal won't mean shit five years from now to someone who just happens across this on Cinemax or Netflix or something.

Despite the cool trailer I will be keeping this at a distance until I have forgotten about it and stumble across it someday when I'm feeling extremely forgiving.

Golden Circle is an objectively bad film. Matthew Vaughn slipped massively in my eyes when he made that piece of shit. He has a track record of producing guff but as a director he's pretty damned consistent so hopefully it was a one off and not his descent into idiotic mediocrity like Guy Richie before him.

I went out of my way when i went to London in 2017 to find the Huntsman and Sons Tailor shop. It was right before the golden Circle was released and it was pretty cool to have been standing right there where the movies were filmed

Im really more looking foreword to the 3rd movie than this prequel, but it looks pretty interesting

Really like the editing in this trailer, and it has done a lot more to "sell me" on this movie, to the point where I am now considering seeing it in the theater.....

Matthew Vaughan is going to become the next Robert Rodriguez.
