it is kind of sad no one gives a crap about raw any more. even smackdown gets more posts. have'nt been to the other wrestling forum sites but i say they are just as bad.

I didn't say anything about AEW. I said this is a pro AEW forum, so WWE post count probably doesn't worry Vince McMahon and his new billion dollars.

The problem is that it's not a " Pro AEW " forum. If WWE put out shows that interest me, I would make time to watch or DVR them. No one here... literally NO ONE... is rooting for WWE to fail. Everyone here.... LITERALLY EVERYONE.. would love to see great RAW's and Smackdowns every week.

I'm more interested in AEW because even if they do some of the same shit, at least it's a different cast of wrestlers and a lot more hope for change involved. There is no hope for change when Vince McMahon is involved.

I would love to see a day where my primetime TV nights are all wrestling .. AEW/ WWE/ RDW. But right now it's just AEW that is peaking my interests.

I think that’s a bit of tit-for-tat. So, if Noid hadn’t pointed out the lack of posts in an AEW thread nobody would be pointing out the lack of posts in a Raw thread/actively not posting in them. It’s petty and I wish we could move past it but...well, here we are.

Yeah that was like so many months ago already. It clearly hit a cord though because people haven't stopped bringing it up since.

I legitimately want WWE to do well because when they hit their mark, there's nothing like it. Unfortunately they've been so consistently bad and piss poor at building new stars, creating lasting moments, and telling compelling stories consistently that I've been mostly tuned for years now.

The fact that Reigns is just recently the top heel in the company when it was the most obvious and desired direction for him, when fans can't actually go to the arena and enjoy it, speaks, to me, volumes about why the company sucks and why they feel so directionless and uninspired.

But I don't want them to be. I grew up on WWE. I WANT them to be good. I hate that I find them boring and unwatchable.

I've thought for a while Drew vs Sheamus was a WM feud. Looks like it will be.

That Drew & Edge promo was almost the opposite of Goldberg & Drew from a few weeks ago. Drew says something nice about WWE Legends both times and Goldberg flips out thinking he was disrespecting them while Edge flips out because Drew is too nice to him.

Yeah this first hour has been pretty boring or meaningless even by RAW standards. Sheamus kicking Drew in the face was the only real interesting thing that happened.

Playing some games on my Nintendo Switch while RAW is on has been the only way I've managed to stick with watching RAW these days.

Still not a fan of this Hurt Business implosion storyline since its still way too soon to do it.

Seems she's been worse with it since coming back than she was before.

Also this Flair Family drama stuff might legit be worse than the Mysterio Family drama stuff from last year. At least the Mysterio stuff had the emergence of Dominik and a few good matches. This Flair Family crap hasn't hinted at anything redeemable about it.

Guess Carlito is sticking around on RAW for longer than assumed based on him getting the special vignette treatment.

There were some rumors of him being brought back in a MVP type role in the sense of him working as both an active wrestler and backstage producer.

If Carlito has any ring rust, he hasn't shown it at all these past 2 days. Sure he didn't really do much in his tag match tonight but he's been solid in the ring since his return.

I don't know for sure his wrestling frequency down in P.R., but im sure he has access to rings whenever he needs to train.

Also, I'm gonna guess this run for Carlito is gonna tap out after about 6 weeks when his jacked up physique starts to faulter without being able to stay in the juice.

Nikki Cross' new theme might actually top Carmella's new theme for music that doesn't really fit as a wrestling entrance theme.

My thoughts on the show tonight;

I enjoyed the hell out of this episode of raw for many reasons. Carlito's appearance in a match, edge return and his promo for the main event vs orton, sheamus turning on drew mcintyre was my highlight of the night. Really felt "fluid" and I cannot wait for next week. I expect edge to be on SD to challenge reigns.
