I just reupped my Netflix solely for this show and realized, I have damn near zero memory of what has happened in this show. I recall the main story arc, but the little details that made the show great escape me. Guess that's a good thing since I can play catch up.

Went trough the whole thing again in the past week or so. The creators said they won't people watching it all in one sitting cause they want people to have full concentration for the whole thing. Ah well.
But more importantly, what time is it released in England?

Not that it really matters since I've had a few pints and probably won't get up til like 11am anyway

You are right. I always thought it was in 4:3 aspect ratio SD format.

So much background music.

After 1 episode, the dialogue is so long because of a lack of commercial breaks. I think if the writers were forced into three 8 minute segments it would get to the point faster. But a lot talking which meant a lot of background music which seems very loud.

But I'm 1 episode in, wtf do I know.

I am turning off after episode 3.

Yeahhh first ep didn't exactly "rock my world". One of the best things about the show was how there'd be multiple stories going on in an episode but they'd all tie in with one another and come together at the end. Concentrating mostly on one character per ep loses that.

Still had some funny moments but I dunno. Onto episode 2 for me now.

Thought "what the hell is going on" for like 90% of the second episode

Yeahhh the whole season seems to be building up all the jokes and then the punch lines will come later on. Theres constantly stuff going on in the background that will probably be shown later on. Basically like one huge episode. Loved Mary Lyn Rajskubs character, but on the whole I thought the second ep dragged a bit.

Portia De Rossi looks so different. Thought it was a different actress at first even though I knew she was coming back for it.
