Time to decide what is TPWWs game of 2019.

Fallen Order fpr sure. MK11 is a strong 2nd but Fallen Order nails what a star wars game can be. Could be a bit more difficult and i wish post game there was a fast travel mechanic to make completion less of a slog but all in all its a great new IP and i will patiently await a sequel with bated breath.

Star wars because its fucking amazing with graphics, gameplay, and storyline.

I wanted to go with MK11 because its the game i had the most fun with but went with RE2. If i played the others it may of been voting for but i never played them tet.

Damnintor didnt even have to think on this one

Also Outerworlds got the most point via nominations so its surprising that it doesnt have any votes yet

Had to vote for the only one I played, even if I had played more I probably wouldn't rate any of the other four over REmake2 anyway.

At some point I'll play RE2:RE

It's pretty solid, If they'd actually implemented the B scenario properly it would have given the original 2 a run for its money as my favourite RE.

I'm trash at modern MK and single player story mode is probably wank if it's similar to X. I'm sure being good at fighting games would make this one a lot more appealing.

Never been a big Star Wars guy, feel like I read somebody here calling Fallen Order "Sekiro in a Star Wars skin" so it's probably very good, but then would Sekiro probably be better though? Haven't played that either.

Heard a lot of good about Outer Worlds, but then I heard Ashly Burch has a prominant role and I zoned out. Imposter Rise needs to get patched. :mad:

Borderlands? Borderlands? Game of the year? Bordering on an absolute joke mate. Who's voting for this? The damninator? What is this, a PS3 game?

Oh, I absolutely vote Outer Worlds. Even objectively, since the only game I haven't played on this list is Borderlands 3 (and as much as I like Borderlands... meh). Not great at fighters, but MK - while fun - is more of the same. Fallen Order feels like an apology for the Bunglefront games plural... was okay, but you can tell there wasn't as much focus on it as opposed to a game with 100% publisher backing. Maybe a sequel/future title in the same vein with no attached bullshit will be "the" game. And I made my thoughts known about Resident Evil 2 in the other thread but will rehash here: I don't like the rare ammo / flimsy knives + can't tell if the zombie is actually dead after two full clips of headshots bullet sponging nature of the turned populace. It was like Capcom pulled a Nintendo and wanted to make stuff new for newness sake. The remake of the first was fine with the surprises of extra rooms and paths, the crimson head buisness, and the jumpscares not happening when and where you expect them if you were familiar with the orignal. This, I just wished I could pick up a sturdy blunt object from the background and use that to cave skulls in instead of having to try to dodge everything in narrow corridors for hours.

Outer Worlds needs no explanation. However, after all my exposition from disqualifying everything else, that would be a dick move. I've expoused my love for nearly all things Fallout forever - since the demo for the original on PC in the 90s. I felt the same way about this game that I felt about playing that title then. Even after the sigh of relief that there was no meta fuckery with premium currency or loot boxes or added external marketplaces, it feels like not just another "spiritual successor" in what is now a chain of spiritual succession tracing back to the original Wasteland, but also a jumping point of a whole new viable IP that can rise from the ashes of the memories of all the others... until some corporation 10 years from now eventually fucks this up from greed as well, and a new studio will have to make some other alternate retro-future "post apocalypic role playing game" that makes people yearn for the days that this game appeared and continues the cycle.

I liked the story in MK9 (well, except that Sindel scene. That was hilariously bad) but X never really clicked for me. The offspring special forces were bunk. Oh, I just checked the cast list, guess who voiced Cassie Cage :mad: That makes a lot of sense now.

It's already won the award from multiple major sites, but go off about how I have a bigger pool of games I played I guess.

Its def a game im gonna pick up. Reviews have been pretty mixed ranging from GotY to hard meh so im waiting for the price to drop

BL3 wins for me as its gunplay and quality of life improvements definitely add up to a far better product than BL2 or any game in the series.
