Iffy decision but Im glad Mighty Mouse won..

Sad Court McGee lost though.. He prolly needed a loss to a vet at this point in his career to judge what he needs to work on, i.e. ducking his head against a boxer with a mean uppercut.. Court has a chin a granite though..

What Would Kevin Do? 03-03-2012 01:15 PM

Mighty Mouse didn't win.

It was a draw.

How can you go against Uncle Creepy?

BTW, was it just me or did that Australian crowd blow dick? How could they have booed during the McGee/Philipwhatever fight like that? They had no appreciation for what they were seeing.

Kris P Lettus 03-03-2012 01:18 PM

The third was a 10-8 round for McCall??

Was I that drunk last night??

What Would Kevin Do? 03-03-2012 02:12 PM

Apparently one of the judges did score it 10-8, but it got reported as 10-9

So yeah, it was a draw, there's going to be a rematch, probbably next month if Dana has his way.

What Would Kevin Do? 03-03-2012 10:18 PM

How is Kenflo still on the list, isn't he retired?

CSL 03-03-2012 10:26 PM

not officially, he was "advised" to retire but is taking his time/seeing if he can heal up

What Would Kevin Do? 03-03-2012 10:27 PM

Ahh, gotchya.

I like Florian, I really do, but he just can't seem to win when it matters.

Crimson 03-03-2012 11:02 PM

The womens fight was pretty good..better than any of the mens fights thus far.

What Would Kevin Do? 03-04-2012 12:14 AM

I can't believe the ref didn't stop that. I know she didn't tap, but come the fuck on.

Crimson 03-04-2012 12:16 AM

WOW what a fight

Crimson 03-04-2012 12:17 AM

Poor Meisha..Rousey looked much better in those tights I must say

Crimson 03-04-2012 12:20 AM

So both women fights >>>>> any mens fight tonight. Womens Ultimate fighter Dana, do ittt

Jura 03-04-2012 12:23 AM

Pretty exciting. I've only seen Tate fight twice and she's a pretty good wrestler/grappler but of course Rousey looked crisp and strong with her judo background she can probably take down anyone.

NoJabbaNoBogRoll 03-04-2012 12:23 AM

That arm was messed up, "dawg".

Dana doesn't care about FeMMA.

With that said, a Womens' Ultimate Fighter could be huge money.

That is sick.

Next Big Thing 03-04-2012 08:30 AM

Sick fucking fight. If Dana doesn't see any potential in a Women's Ultimate Fighter he's a fool.

MoFo 03-04-2012 10:05 AM

My nigga Josh Thomson gonna dethone hypejob Melendez :D

Next Big Thing 03-04-2012 10:59 AM

I'd say the Zuffa/Showtime relationship is dead after this year.

http://mmajunkie.com/news/27714/dana...ixed-input.mma

Don't really mind it. Only thing Strikeforce is good for at this point is women's mms anyways. Hopefully, that comes over to the UFC when all is said and done.

A women's division wouldn't be any worse or short on talent than 145 anyways.

The next 3 UFCs should be good. Jon Jones vs Rashad Evans, Dos Santos vs Overeem and Silva/Sonnen. The next one is on April 21st though. Is there anything good scheduled between then and now?

Anthony Pettis "considering" dropping to 145 to fight Jose Aldo according to UFC Tonight

Krimzon7 03-13-2012 09:16 PM

Holy shit. That would guarantee him a title shot, it would also guarantee him a KTFO moment. I don't wanna see show time get hammered

I see 145 getting phased out in the next couple of years. Most of the ultimate fighter guys for that class actually dropped to 135 and if Aldo dominates all the contenders before they get to gain any credibility as fighters, no one will give a damn about it once Aldo inevitably moves up to 155.

Krimzon7 03-14-2012 04:04 PM

If Aldo leaves, I would imagine that Faber would return and everybody loves the California Chin!

Next Big Thing 03-14-2012 04:18 PM

If Faber loses this second fight to Cruz and becomes the 145 pound champ because Aldo left, I don't think people would care about watching him fight either. He'd be nothing more than a prettier Kenny Florian. #Nohomo

Sting Fan 03-15-2012 07:11 AM

Bit of a starting UFC fan here, done a little kickboxing myself but haven't watched a lot of UFC outside of Brocks Fights.

Just saw Rua vs. Jones, Jones is a freak.

Same show (UFC unleashed I think) had Silva vs. Belfort, was a dance recital but Jesus that was a brutal ending kick.

Almost makes me want to go back to kickboxing watching the Rua vs. Jones fight.

Jura 03-15-2012 05:34 PM

Do it.
