omg inception was such a mindfuck!!!!!!! wowowow

Observe And Report - 7/10 would be a lot lower if I didn't love Seth Rogen so much probably

PorkSoda 08-01-2010 05:57 PM

Observe and Report is number 3 on my worst movies of all time.

Inception - 10/10. This is probably the only movie I'll give a 10....yet I have no idea what it was about. Seriously. I can't tell you a single thing about it.

ClockShot 08-01-2010 06:57 PM

Karas: The Revelation - 3.5/5

Schlomey 08-01-2010 08:48 PM

I watched Observe and Report literally hours after seeing Paul Blart. O&R sucked compared to Paul Blart which I surprisingly liked.

McLegend 08-01-2010 10:14 PM

Harvey- 10/10

Incredible movie

Skippord 08-02-2010 06:27 AM

Law Abiding Citizen - 6/10 knocking off points for the ending being annoying and the "it's gonna be biblical" line

Mizsoris 08-03-2010 10:59 AM

2012 - 7/10

Granted the whole thought of the apocalypse and the world ending being extremely scary, Hollywood had to ruin the movie with a love angle. Granted the special effects were phenomenal, the whole love angle killed it. Without it might have gotten a better review in my opinion, but eh.

Schlomey 08-03-2010 06:58 PM

They always add a love story to end of the world epics. Armageddon comes to mind as well.

McLegend 08-03-2010 07:08 PM

Rambo- 8.5/10

It was really violent, and it was really awesome.

Dave Youell 08-04-2010 03:52 PM

Inception 11/10

Droford 08-05-2010 05:05 PM

Moon 5/10

Story was good, but I dont understand why the company would need so many clones in storage on the moon. That would have to be super expensive.

thedamndest 08-05-2010 05:20 PM

Clone refrigeration isn't as expensive as you make it out to be.

Dinner With Schmucks - Steve Carell & Paul Rudd

3/10

What a MISERABLE movie. You know those scenes in The Office where Michael Scott just makes you squirm in your seat in embarrassment? This ENTIRE movie was like those unbearable scenes of embarrassment.

The only tolerable ( and the only funny part) of the film was the actual dinner which circumferences maybe 20 minutes of the film.

Don't waste your time unless you like to be tortured.

Carell did not create anything new here. Instead he put in false teeth and acted like the unbearable side of his Michael Scott character.

Paul Rudd typically plays the cute, lovable loser very well (see I Love You, Man) but here he is inept, unfunny, not charming & at times interoperable to watch. I have loved every Rudd role from Wet Hot American Summer to The 40 Year Old Virgin - This is his weakest performance to date.

ClockShot 08-06-2010 04:56 PM

Inception - 5/5

Pretty easy to follow if you keep a keen ear and pay attention. But damn, either that was a good make-up job or the years REALLY caught up to Tom Berenger.

Missing - A political thriller about an American who goes mising during the Chilean coup and his father and wife try finding him while working with duplicitous American officials. Costa-Garvas is a master of the genre and Jack Lemmon was great as the conservative father. 8/10

The Other Guys - 3/10.

Boring. L. Jackson and The Rock should have been the stars; it would have been much better.

The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly. 10/10. Cant believe that it's taken me this long to see it.

7/10 (This movie isn't for everybody)

ClockShot 08-11-2010 09:05 PM

Ponyo - 4/5

This Miyazaki film is geared more towards children than everybody this time around. Animation is different as well. But you still got that magic, storyline, and voice cast that Hayao always brings to the table.

Having just watched it for the first time, I agree entirely. :y:

8 out of 10 as well.

PapaGeorgio 08-15-2010 02:02 AM

Life During Wartime 8/10 Probably when I rewatch it I'll rate it higher. Did enjoy the film, but probably my least favorite film of his. It did have the effect on me where I just wanted to watch movies all day, which I haven't done in awhile.

Paper Man 7/10 - Average indy film. Has its moments, nothing mind blowing but it's a charming movie.

The Expendables 9/10
