Kick ass new FPS. Dont let the modern overwatch-y graphics fool you, this is a serious, old school style fps game that I've been itching for a while. It's a Quake style game where pure skill, map knowledge and control are more important than classes/loadouts/heroes etc nonsense that's all the rage in modern FPS games.

Really awesome stuff, if you grew up on Quake like me, I think you will like this. Just downloaded it off the Epic Store (it's 100% free) and am having a blast with it.

A fps that needs skill? That's a hard pass for me.

I have no skill when it comes to FPS Games

Quake style game that requires skill? Have you ever played a Quake style game?

Yes, I played multiplayer games since Quake 2 in 1998, back when there were no server browsers and I had to pull up a list of IP Adresses from Planetquake.com to join a game, until Gamespy came around. So, yeah, I've played probably years worth of Quake games. Quake 3 which later turned into Quake Live is probably the epitome of competetive arena based shooter. Even today, still being played as an esport, but has been overshadowed by Quake Champions,

I hope you are not trying to imply that Arena shooters dont require skill, because there is certainly a great amount of skill, in terms of reaction time, aim, map knowledge, timing of pickups etc, required to be competetive at these games.
