Am I the only one that found Ghost In The Shell dull?

Maybe it's because I prefer bizzare, weird, funny, quirky stuff but I just didn't think much of it.

I wouldn't say dull. I liked it but it didn't pull me in as quickly as some other shows.

At best it'll be one in my area. I went to a cool one last year and seen some cool cosplayers and some celebs.

Gonna rewatch Trigun and Fullmetal Alchemist (first show, not Brothers). Also gonna dive back into Basilisk (only finished 12 episodes) and maybe get into Witchblade.

I started watching Claymore on netflix. Kind of done with it already. Just seems boring.

Read about that last year. It was praised by a chick and I thought I'd check it out in the future. Now I'm weary...

I also checked out Claymore on Netflix. It confused me in the first episode. But not in a way I wanted to watch more.

Then I found Vandread.

Yeah, that arc just ENDED, no real fanfare, nothing. Now the new arc makes no sense at all :o

Amagi is a filler character that is only in the anime, so whatever you are watching isn't going anywhere.

Yeah that's what I thought. Filler in Anime just might be the worse thing ever. I wish it didn't exist.

It got pretty ridiculously bizarre by the end.

But the kid is so annoying I constantly want to watch him die.

Like, they could make a show entirely of him dying, over and over, and I'd watch it. As long as it was slow and varied.

Oh god, hate that kid so much. Another reason I stopped watching.

Yeah but I just watch it on Adult Swim, and I don't look that far ahead with spoilers and other various things.

I think it will be quite a while. Maybe if the spirit king becomes an enemy.


Also, I like where the current arc is going. One thing about kubo is that he's good at creating enigmatic, mysterious characters. It's always fun reading stories that have revelations about them as well. Really like the whole "turn back the clock" mini-arc, and this new arc looks like it might be a similar story, this time involving Ichigo's father.

I guess this new arc just feels like when the Vizard were introduced, so it feels familiar and a little uninspired.

But I really do want for the arc to dive into Isshin's story.

I expected heavy character development. Clare gets a little character development in an arc that deals with why she became a Claymore, but everyone else is fucking flat (and she's pretty flat, too). The kid is a whiny bitch to the end, which really killed any shot of character development.

If he had gone from whiny bitch to competent and useful, that'd be one thing. But even when he was fighting a Claymore, he was a whiny bitch.

I finished Fullmetal Alchemist and Gungan Lagomorph recent. I need to check out brotherhood. Gundam Lambda was far more entertaining than I expected.

It was also the gayest thing I've ever seen, but still.

BROTHERLY COMBINING

Finished Fullmetal Alchemist (1st show) for the second time, this time watching all 51 eps and not missing the 3 or 4 I did years ago. Did not know Johnny Bosch had a cameo eps. Cried a total three times during the series. Love this show.

Now on to Basilisk.
