Basically, Gawker's guys trying to frame this as them losing the lawsuit being the end of the 1st amendment, the murder of true journalism, and what has led to the "fake news" phenomenon and rise of Donald Trump and hate of the media.

Gawker can't play the babyface, brother. I understand the concern over silencing media, but leaking sextapes isn't journalism...unless it's Russian prostitutes pissing on the president of the United States.

The first half is the Hogan/Gawker suit, and the second half is going down the rabbit hole about billionaires controlling the media and buying up small media outlets to suppress the truth and kill the 1st amendment.

Quick thought: The press has the righ toreport that hulk hogan has had sex in front of a camera. They do not have the right right to sell and distribute that tape.

Gawker is mad and crying foul that a billionaire tech guy funded Hogan's lawsuit because of an article they wrote about him titled "Peter Thiel is totally gay, people."

Exactly. Gawker isn't the face of the suppressed media seeking to shed light on injustice. They were a sleazy online tabloid.

I'm probably going to watch this at some point this weekend.

The best bit is in court when he says he doesn't have a ten inch penis, then says but Hulk Hogan does. Obviously he's sworn in as Terry Bollea so he's saying that the All American Hulk Hogan has a big beefy Wang.
