Okay so the show must be diverging slightly on some points just to keep it surprising for fans of the comic book yet to retain the theme for the fresh audience.
I can dig it and despite how fanboy I am about "my things" I am reaping the benefits of how well prepared this is without being so into the comic that the slightest change annoyed me. Very glad I read the Wiki before the spoiler tag, now I'm kinda just waiting... |

This show was awesome. Finished it up today. So fucking good. Seanny is right, every time you think you're going in one direction, they make a hard turn in the opposite.
The zingers and comedy bits are great. Karl Urban is so damn good. Absolutely magnetic as Butcher. The season finale really ramped it up. Wasn't expecting the ending at all. I'm excited for the next season. But it sucks we have to wait. |
Karl Urban brings gravitas to the whole thing before you've even seen it. Then he has the humility not to steal the show.
I think Elizabeth Shue just had the best role of her life. |

Thoroughly enjoyed the show. Karl Urban and the person who plays Homelander were amazing. Can't believe I had some sympathy for The Deep after the first episode. Quality stuff.

Just finished episode 2. Elizabeth Shue still has it! All those 80's boner memories are coming back. The Karate Kid boners. The Adventure's of Babysitting. I think I once jacked off to her banging the Thor guy in that. Cocktail... hard to jackoff to because Tom Cruise is being all weird flipping bottles and smiling and shit. Leaving Las Vegas... who doesnt want to drink themselves to death with Elizabeth Shue riding your limp dick?

I'm four episodes into the series; I don't know why I held off from watching this show, as it is fantastic. Karl Urban, Elizbeth Shue and Erin Moriarty are owning it.
The Deep having a lover's quarrel with the dolphin in the back of a van was priceless. |
That scene with the dolphin was amazing.
And this series just further endeared me to Karl Urban. |

I was swaying between it and The Umbrella Academy for my top comic book show. They are both outstanding so either way the viewers win.
