This show does a good job of showing you how many D Listers there would be if X Men was real life too. I like that some powers are good for certain things but they have no real advantage against deadly weapons.

I liked the flashback with Frenchy making different types of bombs to disable the supes. Xanax bomb was good. Don't know why they don't do more of that now.

Couple I big reveals in this ep. Want episode 7 badly.

There's something about going on a skyscraper and just letting it all flow free also.

Also nice to see Stormfront paying homage to Anakin, I would have expected the episode to end with them sticking a mask on her and rebuilding her.

Lastly I did not see the Congresswoman being the one causing the explosions... If she has to be in the vicinity of it, how/why kill Raynor in the very first episode?

She also wasn't in a trance-like state (Eyes) during the court scene

same reason for letting the supe terrorists happen or kind of a flip on what Edgar told Butcher... she probably needed Stormfront/Vought to go up against to further her own agenda. This whole show is people using people.

I wonder something, though... the general pool of powers seems to be fairly specific... outside of the freaks in the hospital, that is. Flight, speedster, eyebeams (seriously, Homelander, Ryan, and some random baby have exactly the same heat vision) , varying degrees of invulnerability, strength... I wonder if they will touch on that later.

I think the congresswoman is gorgeous and I'm glad her character isn't a throwaway like I thought it would be.

Well if you want to look to the comic for answers, don't bother, because it's another case of the character being drastically different from the comic counterpart.

In the book, Victor Nueman (yes, a man) is the puppet president put into office by Vought so they could rule the country. He was created as a parody of George W. Bush (who many saw as a puppet president for Cheney) and is legally retarded. I'm talking can't even properly function, handicapped.

So Nueman in the show being some sort of mastermind is a massive swerve. The only connection I can see to the comic and a possible motivation for her actions is Comic Nueman works for Vought. They could be doing the exact opposite of the book, where Nueman is actually the secret shadow CEO of Vought and Edgar is just the public face. And she's playing some sort of long game to get herself elected as president so Vought then has complete control over everything, and the masses wouldn't even realize it.

I just finished the episode where Homelander fucks Stormfront.

I cant figure out why they think Stormfront made that bitches head explode. There is nothing in her powers that would make a head explode and there wasnt any lightening.

I wish there was a bit more seriousness with The Deep. But his ridiculousness is hilarious also.
