Is anyone actually enjoying the Shane/Miz angle?
It's inception at that awful tournament. The arbitrary Miz face turn. Miz talking like his dad never cared about him when his dad has been featured in numerous WWE things over the years and has always been supportive. All of it just fucking sucks.
The title match at the Rumble was decent, but that's the only good thing I could see coming out of this. If one turns on the other, they haven't even been together long enough for it to mean anything. Am I missing something here? |
Getting strung along just to wait for a break up seems kinda meh.
|
I like Miz as a face but not this feud. The SDLive segment was really cringe-worthy this week.
|
Assuming I make it to Mania this year, I'll likely have been at the only two Manias Miz has worked as a face
fucking hell he sucks as a face |
Miz's face is just so punchable. I quite enjoy him as a heel, but his face work is for the birds. What could there possibly be to like about face Miz?
|
I don't think he comes off as a face in this angle though really. He seems more like a heel being a smarmy jackass and faking the good guy routine.
|
I don't understand why this happened at all. Then again, you have to ask yourself why Shane won that best in the world tournament at Crown Jewel to figure out how we got to this Miz/Shane storyline.
So, no. Not enjoying it. Have Shane beat up Miz, drop the tag team titles, send Miz away to be a Dad for a little while. Have him come back fresh. |
There is no point in Miz being a face because he is such a good heel he gets cheered regardless. This whole angle is just so Shane can have a Mania match.
|
Its not terrible but also screams of Creative pretty much having nothing for the Miz.
Same for them getting a tag title reign this soon since it also feels like they are rushing part of the storyline just to get it over by Mania. |
yeah they should not have the tag titles at all. Hated that. I hate any time they give the titles to an intentionally short term team at the expense of the guys in the "division". Makes it seem like the normal teams are not credible to me in a way.
|
At first I thought it was just Miz being a heel/annoying and that he was gonna turn on Shane..... but then somewhere it just turned into a legit face turn and it was like "wait, what? Why is this happening?" and is still like that

It was amusing seeing Cesaro carry three guys to a decent match. (Sheamus is limited, Miz is Miz, and Shane can't bother to learn how to throw a punch.)
|
The question should be who the fuck isn't?
|
At this point, I think if you're still watching WWE week-in you kind of get what you deserve.

I’m just not buying that this is going to lead to a singles match between the two. That is going to SUCK.
|
It would suck. And it's really not needed on what will already be a bloated card.
If you assume every championship will be up for grabs, that's already 10 matches (4 Raw belts, 4 SDL belts, Cruiserweight title, Women's Tag Titles). Plus probably a Cena match and an Undertaker match. And two pre-show battle royals. We don't need a fucking Shane McMahon match on top of all of that. |
I do think there's a chance they will ride this Shane vs. Miz thing out until Mania. But I remember saying the same thing about Orton in The Wyatt Family too.
|
I have no desire at all to ever see Shane wrestle anymore. The shooting star press was cool and all, but all he does is big spots. This feud has completely neutered Miz

Fuck's sake... |
Will this man ever stop?
I'll be in my 50s and we'll still be getting Taker matches seems like. |
Rumour is no Taker match this year.
|
He'll be back next year then.

Wouldn't be surprised if it's the same thing where he has an unscheduled 2 minute match against someone. |
No idea what else they could do with Miz right now. Turn him back heel and feud with who? Jeff Hardy?

It dawned on me the whole angle was done probably just for the miz tv show
