Am I the only one that enjoyed the Tomas Jane Punisher?
The fight with Nash is one of my favorite fights ever.
And his killing Saint is sooo satisfying.

His buildup to becoming the Punisher was great but he didn't really feel like the character afterwards.

Ray Stevenson was a better Punisher in terms of the actual character.

Jane-Punisher was a better film overall, tho. Technically speaking.

What Jon-Punisher does it take the complexities of Frank Castle and have in a technically sound production that's not merely gratuitous in presenting the violence of Punisher's side of the Marvel universe. There's even a pinch of Dolph-Punisher there with the 'man who doesn't die' mythological angle.

THIS PUNISHER IS A MAN POSSESSED BY A FORCE OF FUCKING NATURE. HE'S SO RUTHLESS AND UNRELENTING, BUT AT HE SAME TIME BELIEVABLE AS A HUMAN BEING WHO JUST GOT HIS LIFE UTTERLY BROKEN AND IS JUST TRYING TO MAKE IT GO AWAY.

I liked the Jane version as an action movie. I really don't buy it as a Punisher film. And the beginning was stupid as fuck, they killed like 40 Castle family members. His backstory is supposed to be dark, this was just ridiculous.

I'd call watching your whole family die at a reunion fairly dark.
