Eh

I think it looks good

I take it Val Kilmer has been dubbed over because since the throat cancer he sounds like somebody doing a piss take Marlon Brando impression. I sincerely don't mean to mock him when I say that, just listen to any clip and that's what he sounds like now. I was nearly in tears when I first heard him talk after all of that. He's absolutely the biggest waste of talent in my lifetime, a marvellous performer with everything a leading man needs besides restraint.

Saw this earlier. Like, right after I saw the trailer for the Jay & Silent Bob Reboot.

I just read about that. Kevin Smith is so devoid of creativity these days, utterly exposed as a weird angry geek that can't get past the 90's.
I wasn't surprised because he reverts to ViewAskewniverse every time he flops another opportunity but I am completely bored of him now. I think he has had more chances than any other three shitty directors would get between them. Time was that two flops would fling a director into obscurity. Look at Alex Cox. |
Top Gun was a moment in time; you're only going to ruin it by making a sequel.
