Locke
This is one of the best movies i've seen and one of the simplest movies i've seen.
It stars Tom Hardy. The entire movie is Tom Hardy driving a car.... ok Hardy is a big business man. He has a family. He's driving a long distance to get to a specific place where he feels he needs to be for sure. The entire movie is him interacting with everyone from his wife, kids, co workers, and " others " as he drives to this destination. I love Tom Hardy. I think he's fantastic. This is the best Tom Hardy performance you will see. A movie where it's nonstop Tom Hardy driving seems like it might get boring, but it doesnt. It's so well acted. The constant phone calls he has to take ( not forced by any means, just life ) are amazing. This movie is a great movie. It's on Netflix now. I just watched it a 2nd time. Man it's so good. |
I thought it was ok...watchable. His Welsh accent was ostentatious.

Unless you're blind every film is watchable.
Think on. |
...no. "Watchable" is not the same as "visible" you pedantic bender.
|
It literally means "That can be watched".
"Watchable" in the superlative form is vague, meaningless and lazy. It's not for you. You can have the adjective because that just means you're an idiot. |
I mean if you want to shit up RP's amazing thread with ambiguity that's up to you pal. I just expect more in the Entertainment forum.
|
"Watching" is not the same as "seeing". Again, fuck off you pedantic bore.
|
I see the wheels spinning but the cogs are all busted to shit

Thought this was about the poster named Locke. I haven't seen or watched this movie. I like Tom Hardy though so I might have to check it out.
|
It's a movie about a man trying to best deal with a difficult family situation whilst on the phone in the car. It's a well written film that probably belongs on stage as a one man show but I wouldn't recommend it unless you are in a contemplative mood or are too tired to watch anything fast paced.

Locke is a film best watched on a radio.
