It's the time of the week again! Contra seemed to be a sentimental favorite but the results will tell the real story. Just like last week I forgot to actually vote and thus will take into account my score of 3. First one is decent but kinda rough. Didn't really get good until the second one.

The new one is the best. So much fun.

1 is not very good. 2 and 4 are very good

The round clear theme is my ring tone for the few times I have it turned on.

The music is probably one of the best things about it.

How about adding more to the pot? 50? You kidding? Come on...

I know I considered some of those arcade beat 'em ups, especially the Konami licensed ones but I started this back in like 2011 if I'm not mistaken. I mean, I could cheat and just open them all up and peek but I'm enjoying being surprised.

I know that was suggested way back when. I mean, I'll do it if there's enough support for the idea. I can probably do an extra 25 or so.

That's the problem with people these days. Too many rules.

The first Streets of Rage game is decent overall but enjoyed both of the game's sequels on the Genesis a lot more, especially SoR 2. The music though was great and same for the series in general.

Even with the shenanigans over the lack of co-op and 3rd playable character in the SNES port of Final Fight, I also liked the first Final Fight game more than the first Streets of Rage game in terms of rival series.

I'll give it a 3.

Like Smeat said above, the subsequent titles made it better.

I am going to believe this is a lie until I see said container with the pieces of paper.
