So no guest host for the final RAW before WM?

Maybe they'll go with a "chaos" angle, where no one's in charge and all hell is breaking loose.

Honestly it would be a good way to send it to Mania.

It only took 8 months to exhaust the Rolodex of D-List celebrities on a weekly basis. Good to know.

I wouldn't be suprised if they had Austin do something like enstate Bret as fulltime guest host (just until Mania)

I say this, because it makes sense for their build, and the Guest Hosts have as much power as the writing team wants them to anyways

They didn't get Kathy Griffin...

Teddy Long apparently has power over the RAW titles, which makes no sense.

And the next question is who is the permanent RAW GM? Bret? Vince? Austin? Abraham Washington? Norman Smiley?

holy hell..thats probably the stip on Cena/Batista. Bats wins and Vince is RAW GM, Cena wins and Bret is GM.

Makes just as much sense as a celebrity being in control of Raw

I could care less who has power over what. They're going to book what they're going to book. On screen authority figures are overdone. Whatever their jurisdiction is doesn't bother me, since it's coming from the booking team anyways

Who empowers these people anyway? Is it Vince? The Board of Directors?

They're empowered for ratings. It's the same reason why guys get into arguments about who DDTed whose wife, and why nobody ever gets arrested for hitting eachother with sledgehammers.
Why would the coward heels even show up to the events?

Once you start to apply motives and offscreen logic to the product, in any era, you're going to run into problems. It's absurdity

He's being moved to NXT. It's part of SyFy's request to have more science fiction elements to the program

With William Regal on RAW again, he could be the General Manager.

Now that Michael Cole is on NXT, imagine a RAW after WrestleMania with Bret Hart as GM and King & JR as commentators.

And the IWC would explode. Everyone would love Bret as GM but the thought of Cena as champion makes everyone but the 8-14 demographic want to commit suicide.

as a result of the GM guest host gimmick ending, the bella twins, santino marella, and others have been released from the WWE, we would like to wish them all the best of luck in all their future endeavors

Nope, Guest host time will be taken up with replays of the previous week's show, and WM adverts

Last years Raw before Mania was attrocious. NOTHING important happened and WM adverts were every 3 minutes.

Also Hogan, Hall, Nash and Pac will be on the other channel.

I would Imagine that Rock will come back as GM / Commish type role. Just because they are ending the guest hosts doesn't mean they didnt work anything out.


I have mixed feelings about it ending. As a UK viewer a lot of the guest hosts have been a bit lame, but there have been some good guest hosts.

<font color=goldenrod>Shit, the Guest Host concept started on June 29. Just feels weird that it'd be happening that long.

Anyway, glad to see it...hope they finally put a proper GM in charge. My vote goes to Regal, who has always been brilliant in authority roles and I honestly don't see any other reason that they separated him from Zeke on another show.

But, as much as we all hated the guest host concept...hard to say it was a bad idea by WWE business-wise. They likely didn't even have to pay most of the hosts, because they wanted to promote a show or book or whatever. Free publicity both ways.</font>

It would be a great way to head to Mania, and a even better way to start the new season with the Draft.

And a totally awesome way to kick off the summerslam angle with Mr. Dwayne Johnson being the semi permanant GM.

Austin being the last host makes sense. He’ll piss off Vince McMahon, leading to Vince ending it. The RAW before WrestleMania needs to be the sell for the Pay-Per-View; they don’t need a host in the way.
