A couple of questions
1) What would be a good free software program to search for driver updates on a laptop/computer?
I'm looking for something that can scan a whole computer and either get links to update drivers or tell which drivers need to be updated. 2) Name of the box that lets someone hook up a bunch of different video game consoles to a single tv ? I know a modulator can be used to hook up a single console if the tv doesn't have the A/V connectors on it but don't remember the name of the box that would let me hook up a good 4-5 consoles to a single tv. If it helps, I want to hook up a Xbox 360, Wii, N64, and PS2 to the tv in the living room. |
1. You're better off searching the model number on the manufacturers website, finding out what devices it has, and then going to whoever makes the device/chip and getting the latest driver there.
2. Dunno, I think Joytech did one a few years back, try them. |
For the second one, try a VCR, should have a bunch of inputs

Really depends on what inputs you're using. They make them for component too.

Are you using the unnecessarily wide Magnavox DVD-VHS-TV combination
|
Nope, I got the 20'' Emerson television.
Used to have a Phiilips Magnavox 13'' tv I had during my college days but it wasn't a combo tv and ended up replacing it with the Emerson tv from another room since it had the A/V connector for the Xbox 360. I have a 3-in-1 cable connector but it doesn't go further than PS2/Gamecube/Xbox for consoles. |
