It's called understanding the crowd. Every FAN of the business knows that this fued should have been here in Canada. What dumb ass doesn't understand that a crowd is bored of a segment when the crowd starts chanting some idiotic chant? Its much like when people boo they don't like something, when they cheer, they like it.

The only 'What" chants I heard during Raw was during the HHH and HBK segment.

Why would they care? You think fans (current fans that matter, not the ones who are ONLY here to see Bret) are sitting around going "you know, it'd be cool if they booked this in Canada because Bret Hart is from Canada and they wouldn't shit on the segment"?

You want to know why they don't run Canada much? Because the crowds they get tend to be SMARK CROWDS and tend to align with the IWC. They shit on top faces and cheer top heels. WWE doesn't want that.

They cheer for the guys that are from Canada. Much like Orton gets cheered for in St. Louis, Mr. Kennedy in Green Bay (If he wasn't suspended at the time), it's the exact same thing. It's not a SMARK CROWD, they are only cheering for those who they like, not are forced to like.

BDC has a very good point. Bret is not relevant to the vast majority of current WWE crowds. Most of them weren't watching when Bret was still on TV, let alone wrestling.

Yet I give my money to WWE. I support the company. I enjoy analyzing it, I get deeper enjoyment out of it than most. Does that mean it's bad? That I am a supporter and love what I watch, even during what I would consider a dark time?

Me using "Five Moves of Dooms" shows my disdain for Cena. He doesn't only have five moves. When I say "Botchtista", I show my disdain. Batista doesn't botch all the time.

Cena - In-ring style is not what I enjoy in the majority of his matches. His promos tend to be over-acted and repetitive. And I just don't like the character over-all. He's always the center of attention (even without the title), which, while it is GOOD FOR BUSINESS, I do not particularly enjoy him being featured as prominently as he is. If I LIKED how he's portrayed I wouldn't have a problem. I have vast amounts of respect for the man and think he's great for the company.

Batista - Again, another style I don't particularly enjoy, and up until last night would say I never enjoyed his promos nor cared for his character.

Smark response? Fuck yeah. But that doesn't make it invalid. I see both sides of the argument. In the end, both bring in money, and from the business side of things they should be in the spots they are. That doesn't mean I have to enjoy them.
