Who are the other 2 surprises for TNA?

I know RVD is one of the 3 surprises but what about the other 2?
I think its these two...
1.Shannon Moore
2. Jeff Hardy

south776 03-07-2010 11:18 PM

1. Jim Ross
2. Jeff Hardy gets in the ring

The Pope 03-07-2010 11:23 PM

I hope you're only kidding about J.R as a surprise.

Sovereigntywillpr 03-07-2010 11:24 PM

I wouldn't be suprised if Helmes is in the impact zone (but only in the audience cause of his 90 day clause)...

I wonder if he could even be used as an anoucer for 80days or so as a way to build up a feud...

The Pope 03-07-2010 11:27 PM

It might be SABU because from what I've read, RVD wanted to bring SABU with him to TNA.

south776 03-07-2010 11:29 PM

Jim Ross is a legitimate guess. They have been after him apparently. He has said he doesnt think at this point he can still do the WWE schedule.

I know its ridiculous, but not totally unrealistic. Work like 4-5 dates a month? Why not?

The Pope 03-07-2010 11:34 PM

I think J.R still has a contract with WWE up till around Wrestlemania... not 100% sure but I said it, Ryan Clark is contagious

taker707 03-07-2010 11:35 PM

Any Guesses

Quite like TNA’s first live Monday telecast two months ago, tomorrow night’s TNA iMPACT! will see the debuts of a few familiar faces. According to a reliable source, “at least three surprise names” are set to debut on tomorrow night’s live show. Rob Van Dam is one of those names that we can now confirm.

Don't worry bro, that's happened to me too.

south776 03-07-2010 11:44 PM

Paul E would be interesting. You know he would shoot on Vince. I just dont know if he could ever work with Bischoff again.

The Pope 03-07-2010 11:45 PM

Holy crap, Heyman never crossed my mind. That would be awesome!

jskinnyg 03-07-2010 11:52 PM

Heyman = Awesome... RVS = Awesome... Hardy = Meh, going to jail anyway... Moore = Meh... But maybe him Vs. Amazing Red would be cool... Helms = Boring...

Good Ol' JR... No way in Hell...

All I got to say is that it better be good... if they pull another Nasty Boyz stunt, they are DEAD in the Water for sure...

south776 03-07-2010 11:56 PM

If it turns out to be J.R. people should bow down to me.

I will do that for sure... Write that down...

The Pope 03-07-2010 11:57 PM

JR: Shark Boy, Shark Boy, Shark Boy, Shark Boy!

right at the beginning . Best quote in it was "ECW grudge's died with ECW".

south776 03-08-2010 12:11 AM

Other names to think about:

Sid, DDP, Steiner Brothers, Tommy Dreamer, Goldberg, JBL

You know they are gonna go with an established name for that nostalgia feeling.

Mr. Nerfect 03-08-2010 12:14 AM

Paul Heyman would be tremendous. He'd make a great mouthpiece for several guys in the company. You've already got a bizarre pot of guys working together in TNA. Heyman has been focusing on other commitments, but let's face it, wrestling is where he shines best. He would be a tremendous asset to the company.

My guess is that Paul London is one. The dude has tremendous talent, fits TNA's style of wrestling, and hasn't really been doing much. He's one of those guys who could breathe life into the X-Division.

Another to consider is Randy Savage. He doesn't have the best relationship with the WWE, and the Black Machismo gimmick is just begging for Savage to come out and confront Jay Lethal.

I don't know how much of a "surprise" this would be, as they are only really known for their ROH work, but I can see some guys from there showing up. The Briscoe Brothers seem like a perfect signing for TNA. Colt Cabana is someone they have looked at in the past too.

The Pope 03-08-2010 12:15 AM

Maybe Tommy Dreamer and JBL.

Mr. Nerfect 03-08-2010 12:15 AM

Oh, and when the fuck are TNA going to make a call to Monty Brown? For a while, he was the closest pure thing to their own star (AJ Styles had been in WCW and such). The fans were hungry to see him win the World Heavyweight Title. So they turned him heel and joined him up with Jeff Jarrett. But I'd mark out to see The Pounce return to TNA.

Tommy Dreamer seems like a guy TNA would go after and give a bit of a push to upon arrival, just to show themselves as a company that gives back to guys who give to the business (and as a result gets ridiculed for pushing dinosaurs). Would not surprise me in the slightest.

Also, Reid Flair might show up or something.

The Pope 03-08-2010 12:17 AM

Noid has good points so TNA will probably not bring any of those guys in.

Except personally I dont see dreamer as a dinosaur I see him as A highly enertaing wrestler whose never really gotten his due dispite giving everything to the companies hes worked.

The Nasty Boys are fat, talentless, fossils however and shouldn't receive a push anywhere but toward the nearest retirement home.

Xero 03-08-2010 12:55 AM

I think it would be interesting if TNA managed to steal away some current ROH talent. That would be a "holy shit, didn't see that one coming" type of move.

DAMN iNATOR 03-08-2010 12:57 AM

I think it'll end up being Dreamer and Sabu. Wouldn't be shocked and/or disappointed in the least if neither of them showed up though.

Xero 03-08-2010 12:58 AM

Can Sabu even work? Last I heard he was laid up and they were doing a show to support his medical bills or something.

DAMN iNATOR 03-08-2010 01:03 AM

Beats the fuck outta me. I know I should be sorta the "go-to" guy since he's the "hometown hero" for me, but I really haven't followed what he's done since his (WW)ECW days.

jskinnyg 03-08-2010 01:10 AM

DReamer 10 years ago... Now, no thank you... Reid Flair = Hilarious... Awesome...

jskinnyg 03-08-2010 01:10 AM

And the POUNCE??? Come on man???

taker707 03-08-2010 01:12 AM

I just had this thought guys . All of us are mentioning males . what about the likes of trish or lita or hell even torrie . id mark out for any of the 3

Xero 03-08-2010 01:14 AM

Trish I see as a WWE Lifer. Lita or Torrie I could see. Moreso Lita.

Stacy would be a hell of a get, but again, she's a lifer.

I'd mark for Molly in TNA.

Xero 03-08-2010 01:17 AM

A huge "fuck you" to Vince would be Shane.

Just imagine, a McMahon on a non-Vince-owned promotion's TV. It wouldn't be for the ratings, it would be a personal attack by Bischoff and company.

this would be epic but I really don't see it happening truthfully I'm thinkin' it'll be more along the lines of Dreamer or Hardy possibly even Moore

Nicky Fives 03-08-2010 07:42 AM

Brutus Beefcake

Hitmanfan84 03-08-2010 07:43 AM

Breaking News!!!! TNA got......

Jeff Hardy makes his return to the ring and the return of RVD 100% guarantee. If you notice they haven't promote anything big about the Destination X ppv in 2 weeks. Can you imagine the ppv buyout that would sell when the two most X division rated stars in the world return to the ring at Destination X. "Now That's Xtreme, It's Dam Xtreme".

Outsider 03-08-2010 07:47 AM

Are there any legal issues that would prevent RVD using his name in TNA?

The Pope 03-08-2010 09:58 AM

No
