Do we need more Zack Ryder?

I was watching FCW and it turns out they found "Generic big man backup" for Curt Hawkins and it got wondering what would you like to see the WWE do with Zack Ryder on RAW? I wouldnt mind seeing him as feud with Miz and get a decient US title run. He's young and if booked properly, I wouldnt mind seeing him as the next top cocky heel in the WWE

I'm actually pretty indifferent towards him.

I do see how the WWE could tie in the popularity of Jersey Shore/ Ed Hardy/ d-bags and totally rip into him storyline wise. The thing is that I do not know how many of those types watch WWE or if those types would tune in if there were a "character" just like themselves.

meh don't really care either way I mean the guys a pretty good wrestler and his mic skills are above average but I don't really see anything special about him

I just wouldn't make the guy a joke...he's 24 with a lot of room to develop, and he can already work a pretty decent match and cut a promo. Don't push him to the moon or anything, they don't need to yet, but don't bury the guy either.

Him being in the U.S Title field post WM would be nice, as he's a guy who could easily slot into a feud w/ say Daniel Bryan (if he takes the U.S Title off of Miz).

Ryder's got the goods. He has good in ring ability, he's good on the mic, he has a unique look. I see big things for Zack Ryder following wrestlemania

<font color=goldenrod>Maybe even earlier with the right push. I can't even figure out who will still be around in 5 years, nevermind 8. Cena and Orton will likely still be around but past that it's a crapshoot. Taker and HBK will be gone, HHH will be like 45 years old and probably broken down, so he might be the new Taker. Bats I think might be gone. Jericho will be headed towards his mid-40s, Edge will be over 40, etc.

Kinda weird how old a lot of the roster is in retrospect.</font>

I do enjoy me some Zack Ryder. He's good in the ring and on the mic. Only 24 years old, too, so there is no sense of urgency to push the guy. Just let him build up a following over the years. I think he is fine on RAW, but I do wish they would give some of the talent there some more time to showcase themselves. A feud with Evan Bourne would be really cool.

Curt Hawkins definitely has some potential, too. I always got the impression that he was the stronger one in the ring. I would not mind seeing Curt Hawkins called up as a darker sort of character and attack Zack Ryder at random intervals -- leading to a feud between the former WWE Tag Team Champions.
