Need some TV Show suggestions

My fiancee and are are watching Supernatural together and coming up on the start of season 4, we are trying to think of some TV Shows tro download and watch after Supernatural is done.

Lost is out of the question, I have tried :(

As is Heroes.

Anyone have any suggestions, please give them and tell me what the show is about.

Thanks :)

Trailer Park Boys

CSL 03-08-2010 01:35 PM

The Sopranos, The Wire, Californication, Entourage, Fawlty Towers, Bored To Death and 24. In that order. By the time you've got round to 24, the current season should be finished. Go go.

El Fangel 03-08-2010 01:40 PM

Already watched TPB, Kano. We live in Dartmouth, NS for christs sake. Thanks though and that is a pretty good list CSL, I will inquire with her and get back to you

Burn Notice. Season 3 just finished up. A US spy is "burned" (fired), and left to rot in Miami. He teams up with a trigger-happy ex-girlfriend, a guy who also informs on him to the FBI, and even his mother and brother to help people who have nowhere else to go as he tries to find out who burned him and why.

Legend of the Seeker

When you're a spy and you need to find a show you and your girlfriend can both enjoy, the key is to find something with a good mix of humor, romance, and action. That way there's something for both of you.

Fringe, its basically the X Files

Jura 03-08-2010 04:12 PM

If you're into Vampire/Werewolves stuff then I suggest True Blood and The Vampire Diaries. If you're into mystery involving police then Bones. I never really got into X-Files but I watched most of Fringe.

I've been buying all these on dvd as of late. Every episode is a nice little moment of 20 minutes or so of excellent nostalgia.

It's about some guy who's hyper observant who cons the police into thinking he's a psychic.

Triple Naitch 03-08-2010 10:44 PM

The Mentalist. Like Psych, but more serious.

Gonna pick up season 1 of this for a fiver on Weds or Thursday. It's been sitting in CeX long enough but I've kept forgetting.

Jon Kano 03-08-2010 11:09 PM

So good man.

Ridiculous, but at the same time, thrilling.

I love it and I don't think they butchered any of the songs they have used. Your in the minority.

El Vaquero de Infierno 03-16-2010 07:10 PM

Schlomey, don't think liking She & Him will protect you from my wrath. Rue the day, you will. RUUUE!

El Fangel 03-16-2010 07:21 PM

Thinking maybe True Blood.

Mr. Monday Morning 03-16-2010 08:40 PM

Watch The Wire before anything else. I'm serious. I don't care if it doesn't seem like a 'couple' thing to watch, it's a better show than anything before or since. Even AAA thinks so.

CSL 03-16-2010 08:45 PM

x2

Or The Sopranos

Jon Kano 03-16-2010 09:31 PM

The Wire is not as good as the media say it is, but probably about as good as people say it is.

The Sopranos is better IMO.

CSL 03-16-2010 09:39 PM

It's fucking brilliant
