I have thought this was the case since they announced Austin as guest host. Austin would only add to the match at Mania.

Feel like getting Austin involved pretty much makes Bret's roll meaningless because the fans will only care about seeing Austin giving Vince a stunner.

He's gotta stun them both.

Seeing Bret and Stone Cold drink a beer together over Vince McMahon's carcass at WrestleMania would be pretty legendary.

i think when bret has vince in the sharpshooter steve will act like he didnt hear it or some shit like that. Stone cold could add humour to a match that needs to be absolutely serious. If stone cold hits vince then bret becomes meaningless in the match.

He'll be the ref. Just keep watching and it'll happen.

Austin stunning Vince and then Bret putting him in the sharp shooter as Austin grabs them both some steveweisers. That would steal the show. I was hoping Austin would come out and stun Jericho during the Steamboat, Snuka, Piper match and then tell him that HOFers can still whoop his sorry ass.

exactly! Steve would go for a beer and sit on a turnbuckle sipping away while bret holds vince in the sharpshooter. When someone tries to save vince steve would stun them. Eventually bret lets go when vince passes out( a nod to wm13) steve and bret have a beer over vince. They throw him out of the ring. All the faces come out and hoist bret on their shoulders like they did when he won the title (at wm10 i think).

The next night on raw bret has a ric flair type send off.

I think it's very likely it will go down exactly as The MAC has suggested. There is very little doubt in my mind. But I've been personally hoping that Austin would become the Special Guest Referee for Batista vs. John Cena. And while I do think that Bret Hart will get a special send-off on the RAW following Mania, if The Undertaker beats Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania, then you can have Bret Hart and HBK saying their farewell on the same night. Now that would be pretty epic.

To be honest, Stone Cold Steve Austin could referee any of the main events and fit right in.

I don't know why people are "concerned" about Austin drinking beer on a "PG" show. He's done it before.

I've been thinking this since Hart's return. By that point it was pretty well known that Austin would be guest hosting on 3/15, at least by a majority of the IWC, I'd have to guess. So, yeah, I wouldn't be surprised. I'd definitely welcome Austin as the guest ref in the match at 'Mania.
