SAW VII in 3D!

I'm at a loss. Why are they making another one of these?Seriously, this franchise should have been over after Saw II. This and Final Destination need to just call it quits already.

As long as there's a bunch of stupid schmucks willing to watch these awful films (the Saw series), they'll continue making them.

Ya know what they say: IT'S ALL ABOUT THE MON-AAY!

But it's 3D!!

As James Cameron has proved, you don't need a storyline if IT'S IN 3D!!!!!!!!!!!

WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY

Droford 03-17-2010 08:06 PM

It won't be.

HeartBreakMan2k 03-17-2010 08:16 PM

I actually thought they were supposed to go to 8, though I may be mistaken.

El Fangel 03-17-2010 08:17 PM

Oh dear god.

The only reason I have ever watched these are to see the cool ways people die. I have no clue about the storyline.

It will be because 6 failed so miserably due to going up against Paranormal Activity and 7 will go up against PA2 as well.

Paranormal Activity sucked.

I'm not a huge SAW fan, but I wouldn't mind them continuing these - though much less frequently than they are now, and also NOT in 3-D; which I consider just fucking lame due to its current overuse and hyping the film based only on the fact that it's in 3-D.

They said that about the last three now.

NoRoolz 03-28-2010 04:50 PM

It's always been said that there were gonna be 7 or 8 films from the SAW guys.

I haven't seen one since about 4-5, and 3D is getting fucking annoying fast.

G 03-28-2010 05:27 PM

stopped watching at 2 :(

Rammsteinmad 03-29-2010 03:50 PM

I've seen (and enjoyed) all six films, but come on it's starting to get silly.

Although I mostly watch just to see people die in horrible ways and then get swerved at the end and walk out of the cinema thinking the film was the best in the series.

Unfortunately, that's horror nowadays.

Saws, Final Destinations and remakes. Good god the remakes. The entire 80s decade worth of filmography is seemingly being remade.

Meanwhile, one of the very few new, original and solid horror themed movies like Trick 'r Treat don't even get theatrical releases.

KayfabeMan 03-30-2010 02:45 AM

After speaking at length with Tom Savini and several others, I've determined that horror will basically remain a dead horse that Hollywood continues to beat over and over, like RBM said.

Skippord 03-30-2010 08:05 AM

Oh my god a horror movie having a lot of sequels?

that's totally new
