Any chance you get to see Jim Cornette live, please do so.

I promise you will not be disappointed.

St. Jimmy 03-20-2010 04:26 AM

I will jump at that opportunity, sincerely.

KayfabeMan 03-20-2010 04:29 AM

Also, on a side note, Corny does a SPOT ON Vince McMahon impersonation.

Sounds like you're talking to Vince himself.

FourFifty 03-20-2010 06:13 AM

 Fucking LOVE Jim Cornette!

Brigstocke 03-20-2010 07:37 AM

Could not agree more with all of that, by chance is this something that JC does every week that I can look up?

There were a lot of problems with that show and I agree with them on a lot of points

tjmidnight420 03-20-2010 09:56 AM

Yeah.. spot on with that shit.

James Steele 03-20-2010 09:58 AM

Mr. JL 03-20-2010 10:02 AM

tjmidnight420 03-20-2010 10:47 AM

The bit he said about hogan "I've been in the back all day" is exactly what I thought when I watched that segment.. I thought he was lost looking for the arena all day.

screech 03-20-2010 12:09 PM

 I love that man

jskinnyg 03-20-2010 12:11 PM

The good thing about Corny is that he never holds a grudge... Awesome clip...

KayfabeMan 03-20-2010 01:23 PM

Cornette should be running a promotion.

Agreed... Why is it Easy E gets a shot when guys like Cornette and Heyman are either out of the business or on screen personalities?

The reason is Eric Bischoff is a buisness man that knows how to work people and knows the right people while Cornette and Heyman are masterminds that are too headstrong and too up front to abide by someone else's rules.

If Heyman and Cornette had the money to start a company like TNA then I'm sure they would be succeeding more than TNA is right now, but since Bischoff has the buisness sense and connections within the industry that is why we see him leading TNA and not Cornette and Heyman.

Stickman 03-20-2010 01:55 PM

Maybe Easy E doesn't piss off the wrong people.

AngryMidjit 03-20-2010 02:01 PM

I feel ya on that one... would be nice if what's happened on screen in the past was taken into consideration when hiring bookers though...

I don't know so much about Heyman, but I know Cornette has gone on record as saying he wouldn't want to start another promotion from scratch like he did in the past (SMW and to a lesser extent OVW). He's perfectly content in an advisement role like he is in now with ROH.

Though, I do know if I ever hit Powerball like the Wrestlicious guy did, I would totally start a promotion like SMW.

This also has something to do with it.

KayfabeMan 03-20-2010 09:27 PM

Also, be sure to get the Midnight Express Anniversary Book that Cornette put out.

It is AWESOME. It shows the live gates they did, it has copies of their paystubs - showing the insane amounts of money they were making back then; its got great photos and stories and will teach you about a lot of the behind the scenes workings of the biz.

KayfabeMan 03-20-2010 09:48 PM

It is funny :y:

Xero 03-20-2010 09:48 PM

You broke yourself.

Volare 03-20-2010 09:50 PM

That was great. Best thing I've heard today.

Greatest quote ever:

"Fuck all of you, I hope you fucking die!"
- Jim Cornette

DLVH84 03-20-2010 09:57 PM

I love Jim Cornette's point of views; they're honest, straight to the point, no bullshit.

I hope he resurrects Smoky Mountain Wrestling; I use to watch their show, especially when Kevin Sullivan curved up Kintaro Kanemura.

DaVe 03-21-2010 05:37 AM

ahaha that was hilarious; loved the ending

ImpactPlayer365 03-21-2010 02:39 PM

So fucking funny cause its so fucking true. Even now down the line a bit...most of that stuff rings true.

6-String King 03-21-2010 06:25 PM

Hogan: I've been in the back all day....

Cornette: No you haven't, we just saw you get out of your limousine you fucking idiot.
