The Ricky Gervais Show on HBO

Pretty great. Karl Pilkington is incredible. Anyone else watch it?

Ah you have to listen to the podcasts and the old radio shows they did. The radio shows especially as they are all funny as fuck

Ogen 03-22-2010 01:48 PM

God yes AAA you will love these, gimme a sec to give you loads of links.

Ogen 03-22-2010 01:50 PM

All the radio shows are there, incredible all the way through.

Ogen 03-22-2010 01:53 PM

They've 4 seasons of Podcasts and Audiobooks to work through after that lot as well. Fall asleep far too many nights listening to them.

That should be enough for about 6 months but theres even more that that.

Buzzkill 03-22-2010 02:21 PM

Yeah the first 12 podcast episodes are incredible. I like them better than the show, I think the animation takes away from it a bit.

Buzzkill 03-22-2010 02:53 PM

No but whot I'm saying is...I could eat a knob at night

G 03-22-2010 07:25 PM

i'm sure the podcasts are great and all if you can understand what it is he is saying. i had to turn it off after 20 minutes. he should learn to articulate instead of spitting everything out in one long slur.

i really liked him in the invention of lying tho. good flick

Ogen 03-22-2010 07:47 PM

Well thats just baffling, you've dismissed comedy genius and enjoyed an awful film. No idea how he could be considered hard to understand.

That was the worst film of the decade

One of my favourite Karl moments :'(

muffalufagus 03-23-2010 01:17 AM

Oh man. I love it!

DrA 03-23-2010 01:47 AM

I am not rich enough to receive HBO and watch these shows.

PapaGeorgio 03-23-2010 02:08 AM

Yeah, like sound pretentious to keep saying Radio Show/Podcasts are amazing and better, but think they may be. Listened to them all and really get a better understanding of Karl Pilkington and just the group in general. The tv show is just a best of type thing pulling little things, miss out a lot on the fun stuff I guess. Def love KP.

deathtrap 03-23-2010 08:00 AM

Same as Ogen pretty much fall asleep to the XFM shows most nights

Fignuts 03-23-2010 12:26 PM

Yeah, that is fantastic, but I have to admit, Ricky Gervais may have one of the most annoying laughs ever.

Chavo Classic 04-01-2010 03:14 PM

I've had the podcasts and audiobooks for months, and they're always a safe bet for a long journey. The show isn't out in the UK yet, but I'm still going to watch.
