Nice.

Lock Jaw 03-25-2010 10:59 PM

Scott Pilgrim seems to allow Michael Cera to be more manly than he normally is!

Lock Jaw 03-25-2010 10:59 PM

I've heard from several people that the graphic novels are good though. Never read any.

Blitz 03-25-2010 11:38 PM

Just read the first graphic novel after seeing this trailer, pretty hot stuff.

Blitz 05-31-2010 08:51 PM

New trailer is out

http://trailers.apple.com/trailers/u...rimvstheworld/

Really can't wait for this. Read all the novels and they are amazing.

Jeritron 06-03-2010 01:45 PM

Edgar Wright is the goods. Looking forward to his next movie with Simon Pegg and Nick Frost

Kalyx triaD 06-03-2010 04:05 PM

Wait wait wait wait...

This is fucking awesome. Why didn't anybody tell me about this?

Ermaximus 06-07-2010 09:43 AM

I've seen that girl before, but where??? Was she in Sky High?

Last volume of the comic series came out last week. Amazing. Definitely read the books if you haven't, one of the best series I've read.

Jeritron 07-27-2010 06:52 PM

Glad to see she's in it

SlickyTrickyDamon 07-27-2010 08:20 PM

The only movie we want Michael Cera to do isn't happening fast enough. Come on!

dronepool 07-27-2010 08:45 PM

Maybe I'll watch it/download it when it's out on DVD, right now I have no interest in this movie.

Schlomey 07-28-2010 02:50 PM

When does this open it looks really good and right up my alley.

Friday the 13th. 2 weeks from this Friday.

Schlomey 07-28-2010 03:50 PM

woot woot

Buzzkill 07-28-2010 03:57 PM

this looks terrible but I love the director so I could give this a shot

Movie looks great, minus Micheal Cera. Can't stand that guy and his 1 facial expression.

Jeritron 07-29-2010 12:50 AM

Michael Cera will be in every scene Ermax, so the movie being great minus Michael Cera = no movie.

I think it looks alright/interesting. I'm a bit sick of Cera but I don't hate him. I will give it a shot.

I don't hate him either, I just think his acting skills need major work.

Schlomey 07-29-2010 02:10 PM

I dunno I love the happless bumbling style of comedic actors like Cera and that kid from Zombieland...think his name is Jessie somethingerother....plus I like the kid who played McLovin

I think I'm a fan of the bumbling underdog.

Jessie Eisenburg aka Andy Eisenburg's kid brother.

McLegend 07-29-2010 04:25 PM

Michael Cera should sue Jessie Eisenberg for gimmick infringment.

Impact! 08-15-2010 08:17 AM

Aight, just saw this. Was one of the better movies I've seen this year. Probably would be better seeing it whilst high/drunk though.

Blitz 08-16-2010 02:01 AM

Probably as good of a translation of the books as you can get. Michael Cera was a much better Scott Pilgrim than I was expecting. Strongest ensemble cast I've seen in a while. Also, fight scenes were much stronger than I expected.

Blitz 08-16-2010 02:03 AM

Also, lol @ the Thomas Jane cameo. Not expecting that.

Impact! 08-16-2010 06:49 AM

Holy shit, didn't realise that was Thomas Jane. Epic.

Best part of the movie IMO.

Friends loved this. I'm going today!

Gone Mad 08-18-2010 04:21 AM

Such a great movie. Alot of fun and definitely meant for those who've played video games since back in the NES days. Edgar Wright does it again with this one. I'd so see it a second time!

BTW Mary Elizabeth is such a cutie too. Have the biggest crush on her, and Knives ain't too bad herself!

Jeritron 08-23-2010 02:10 AM

This has really kinda bombed at the box office. The grosses are disappointing at best.

It's a shame too because it's a very good movie. I wonder why audiences are staying away? It could look "too hipster" for some people, or maybe people are sick of Michael Cera?

Obviously it has it's cult following already, but I suspect a lot of people will discover it on dvd

OssMan 09-06-2010 04:54 PM

I marked out when the title music from A Link to the Past played

It is too hipster for most people. It's kinda acknowledged here and there in the comics. Based on the way the comics are laid out, I think this would have been a better miniseries on tv than a movie.

DVD sales might not make the film profitable since about a week ago it was around $24-$25 million in revenue earned but cost $85 million to produce.

Jeritron 09-06-2010 07:20 PM

I'm not saying they will make it profitable on DVD, I'm saying they will find it and make it into a remembered cult movie

SaskatchewanChamp 09-06-2010 07:22 PM

Seeing the previews in theaters and on talk shows, it looks fucking horrible, that's why it is bombing.
