So, will everyone now shut up about Montreal?

It's been one of the most frequently occurring discussions in wrestling history, especially within the IWC.

Will WrestleMania and Bret's return to the company in general finally quell it?

Edit: Second option's comment should be on the first option's. :$

For the most part I think it will be done. I don't see why there is a point anymore. Bret and Shawn have buried the hatchet, and so has Vince and Bret.

I don't know if it was planned, but did anyone see HBK's walk through the back after his match? He seemed to have a friendly conversation with Bret.

kareru 03-29-2010 11:32 AM

its all a conspiracy, VKM its trying to put out a clean product right? and he cant do that with the screwjob hanging over his head can he? so what he did was hire some men who came and kidnapped his son and held him in a secure location and said ' if you don't come back to the wwe and show the crowd that you have forgiven me and want to work with me again im going to set the gimp on your boy' and obviously bret had no option but to go along with vinces' plans.

THE SAGA CONTINUES

Bah, I misclicked again, I meant to vote for "Yes it's done".

There's just no point in continuing Montreal, at this point....

Where did you see this? It wasn't shown during WM last night.

That's it, over.

I would hope that everyone would just let it be. It's probably more likely to be brought up by Hart/HBK fanboys than anyone else, even after the final 'closure' of Mania 26. Though, it should noted that Hart/HBK fanboys have been the main propagators of Montreal for years.

we need a new top screwjob now.... i know

macho screwed steph

Who cares? If I see some 3 page thread that mentions anything of Hart, Michaels and Montreal in a post, I ignore it. Not hard to do. If 8 months down the line, after the last few months and last nights Bret/Vince 'match', Vince re-hashes the Montreal finish like he has done so many times in the past then fuck him. But there has been no reason to talk about Montreal for a long time now. If clowns still choose to after 13 years and everybody involved getting some variety of closure, let them get on with it. It's their own time they're wasting.

The Pope 03-29-2010 12:43 PM

That was 13 years ago, it happened and nothing can earase the past

The MAC 03-29-2010 01:17 PM

well there was talk about brt wanting to accept a longer contract if wwe offered it.

perhaps Vince will now try to get bret back?
