Has anyone checked out this show? The commercial for it intrigued me, so I watched the first 4 episodes. I'm still undecided about it. I do like the idea, and I will continue watching, but some of the lesser prominent acting is pretty bad.

Anyways it's a pretty cool idea, and apparently it's a take on the same thing done like 20 years ago.

Thought it got better in the 3rd, and even better in the 4th episode. I will watch it, but it's not a 'favorite' show or anything yet, and has a long way to go until it is.

Has it started again, they showed a few eps before Christmas but then nothing.

Im liking where this episode is going

Still think that original was better but it will be interesting to see how much more it deviates from it and so much the better I say rather not watch a total rehash.

This V is good and suspenseful in its own right. I hate it when the fools come in here and start spewing the 'the original this and the original that'...

This series is connected to the original in Very broad story arcs alone. Let's pray to god that there is no star child BECAUSE THAT SUCKED IN THE ORIGINAL. Let's hope that they dont' reuse the same cheesy ass battle scene, BECUSE THAT TOO SUCKED IN THE ORIGINAL. I can't wait to see how this whole John May thing unfolds.

I thought it was kind of dumb at first, but a friend convinced me to watch it with her and now I've gotten into it. I like the whole "John May Lives" storyline especially.

I'm only a few episodes in, but I'm quite enjoying it. I don't remember enough about the original series (beside the lizard baby traumatising me as a child) to draw too many comparisons.

Some of the blue/green-screen stuff on the mothership looks a bit iffy though, they really should have just built the sets.
