Battle of the Themes #39 - Bret "The Hitman" Hart

AJ Style's "Get Ready to Fly" screws over "I Am" and moves on.

Speaking of screwing, the man up next is no stranger to the term. He is what many consider the best to ever set foot into the ring, Bret "The Hitman" Hart.

Hitman (1997) wins easily for me. One of my favorite themes ever. Still angry that they remixed it for his return.

Hitman in the House is also not a bad theme.

Hitman by a longshot his return theme has that one interesting twist but it sounds like gospel meets garage band and it just doesn't work for me it could have been executed so much better.

I'll go with the Hart Foundation theme, just because I first became a huge fan of Bret Hart's during his initial singles run when he was using this theme. One of my biggest mark-out moments as a kid was the end of Mania 10 when all the faces came out to celebrate his title win and this theme was blaring in the background.

Hitman 1995-when he returned is my favorite of all of them. I actually liked every theme he ever had, the one he had when he was in WCW from late 1998-2000 is my second favorite.

I bet that if he was still using "Hitman", people would pop a lot more.

Hitman '97.

Hart Foundation now sounds like it was all done on a synthesizer instead of a guitar.
Hitman in the House is too "Livin' On a Prayer" for me.

I hate the new theme so much.

I actually liked the WCW one but it's gotta be the Hitmang theme I pick.

Hitman easily. I use that as my message tone on my phone. One of my favourite themes of all time.

I like the drums in the new one.

I use the term "sung" very loosely

Wow, this was tough. Bret's music is possibly some of the most iconic wrestling music there is, but seriously, I went with 'Hitman Theme (WCW)'. Always liked that one.

All three of his WWE themes are a progression of more shit being added to the theme, but it's still the Hart Foundation theme at its core.

Hitman (1997), no doubt about it.

Didn't get around to voting for this. Had I actually voted, it would've been for the 97 theme. Though I do like the "updated" version and appreciate it for what is.
