i still don't get how it's a "reality" show, the voting? if they want to portray it as a reality show they should follow the guys around as they travel and backstage, not just this promo crap that they do to introduce themselves

thedamndest 04-02-2010 05:50 PM

They did do reality-esque introduction packages at the beginning. Also the camera angles are different. And there's voting.

AngryMidjit 04-02-2010 05:51 PM

eh, it's just another wrestling show to me. the voting doesn't really mean much anyway

kareru 04-02-2010 05:54 PM

well nearly all of the 'reality' shows have segments that have been made up sometimes its all of the show that has been scripted and made up, so in that respect its just like a reality show.

A lot of the "Reality" stuff just comes off as what an actual WRESTLING show is about. Like the interviews and angles they have just as they come in the curtain.

They're booking it more like an old school show, honestly.

SyFy probably realizes that the hours before NXT are running against LOST, and they don't have much hope of keeping their primary audience tuned in. Might as well go for the wrestling market

NXT is cool i guess. it would have been cool if they did it in the ovw arenas

Anybody Thrilla 04-03-2010 01:15 AM

I love NXT. Dunno if I'm gonna watch the replays of what I already saw, though.
