You'd think they'd add HBK to the HOF next year but... isn't next year wcw themed? I just can't imagine having goldberg, DDP, and maybe even La Parka in there before HBK.

I could see them adding dean malenko, sting or any of the horseman though though.

Unless Sting is still with TNA. Then again it's the WWE hall of fame so maybe they won't do that.

But the Steiner's, Hall, Nash, and so on are all future HOFers in my opinion

if they do a wcw themed hof would you like them to do a mania where each match has a wcw wrestler in it?

I think legends of wrestlemania is my favorite wwe game of late, i love the RELIVE mode, think if they did that with all the companies they now own the rights to, ECW and WCW matches done just liek they did in LOWM relive mode would be too sweet....

I don't see Sting going into the Hall Of Fame for a while, and if next year is WCW themed I wouldn't be suprised if either A.) they let Shawn be in no matter what, or B.) Scrap it all together

next year is to soon for hbk to get in the HOF, another year or two when he hasnt been around and on tv for a while, would be much bigger and more anticipated..

they should do the wcw theme and get goldberg of course and ddp, a few others like malenko.............

There is only any idea that it'll be WCW themed. There has been no announcement, or anything. It's just in some hardcore WCW grounds, and it would draw for the local crowd. This look good on tv. Also, they're running out of WWE mega-stars that they can put in.

I see HBK being inducted to the Hall of Fame at WM 30.

Allow me to amend my previous statement- I have a thread about the Hall of Fame next year, with a heavy focus on WCW. However, WWE has yet to have a press release, or any significant rumors in regards to next year's WWE Hall of Fame.

For all the shit Scott talks about Steph and Hunter I doubt the Steiners go in.

I'd be shocked if he isn't first ballot.

Which would serve the purpose of burying their own Hall of Fame.

Which company then looks like the bigger joke? The long defunct company which still stirs enough of a reaction for Vince to induct nobodies into his own Hall of Fame to stick it to them? Or the 'world beating' company with a Hall of Fame even more full of undeserving morons than it already is and still concerned about a long dead rivalry with a company that is now under their own umbrella?

I highly doubt WWE has any plan to have a WCW Hall of Fame next year. They will probably, eventually, consider some Atlanta based legends simply due to the location of the ceremony, which invariably means some WCW alum being considered, but I doubt anyone in the company with any HOF influence has yet mentioned the initials WCW in conjunction with the Hall... and that's if anyone with any authority has even thought twice about a wholly token ceremony which isn't due to take place for another year yet.

You know how you probably go to work every day and hear a bunch of tertiary rumours and chinese whispers that go around the office, and usually simply stem from misunderstandings, or disgruntled colleagues just running their mouths and overreacting, or people who just want to look as if they know things above their station, who like to make out like they are clued into things that really they know shit all about... I think 95% of all wrestling 'insider news' comes from these sources.

Some moron within WWE speculates that next years Hall may have some Atlanta names due to the location, this morphs into WCW names, before you know it the word circling the office as "fact" is that there will be a WCW Hall of Fame next year and Jim Herd has already signed a contract to suck Vince McMahon's dick in the middle of the stage.

I completely agree with you. I'm not saying that would be a good idea, but for some reason I could see that happening.

I feel like a WCW-themed HOF should have been done sooner, since more people watching now would likely still remember those names. Yeah if it's done next year it may draw in older/casual fans (as the HOF usually does), but it could have been bigger if more of those older fans were still attached to the product.
