ive always liked megadeth, but invasion is goldbergs theme

Invasion is the classic but Who's Next sounds the best, so I went with that.

While Invasion is and always will be Goldberg's defining theme, I much prefer his WWE theme.

This. Just way better produced, and sounds way more epic. I suppose they probably could have kept the same theme, and enhanced it to sound this good. I always thought the change was better all around though

Invasion. I didn't care for the WWE remix.

Don't even remember him using that Crush 'Em one.

I always thought it sounded more crisp than his WCW theme. I also like the break at about the 40 second mark. Has this methodical feel to it.

Invasion was such a great theme, and with Goldberg, one of the best entrances ever in wrestling. I always liked Goldberg's entrance at Halloween Havoc 1998 when he faced Diamond Dallas Page.

Who's Next i'd say sounds a fair bit better even though it's only slightly different it makes Invasion sound kinda flat it's almost like a midi formatted tune.

Damn I miss Goldberg. Fucking animal.

This. The WWE one was just doing what WCW did (and TNA still does) - take the familiar theme and rip it off.

Well, let's face it, unless TNA is using a Jimmy Hart theme (Wolfpac, Real American) their "rip-offs" are no where near WWE's quality, especially in this case.

I'd assume WWE got Invasion from the buy out anyway, so it made no sense to drastically change his theme.

Invasion... fit him like a glove and the entrance was worked to a T

damn, forgot how good Goldberg's WWE theme was.

If anything, it was differentiating their version of Goldberg, who talked more, worked longer matches, and actually had some up hill battles from the tank that ran through anything that moved in WCW.

Hmmm...now that I think about it, it's like Goldberg could't rip through the roster when he got the big leagues, almost like WCW was child's play:shifty:

But WCW was where the big boys played!

I love Megadeth, but 'Invasion' is easily the best one for Goldberg.

Who's Next

Invasion. Who's Next is good but I wasn't really watching WWE when Goldberg had his run there so Invasion just defines him for me.

I actually liked his Megadeath theme, but his "Invasion" theme fit that persona perfectly.

I went with Who's Next as it's a slightly improved version of Invasion.

Is there a way we can simply vote for "Not Crush 'Em"?
The other two have their pros and cons. There are parts of Invasion I like more than Who's Next, and vice versa.

Jim Johnston's theme has far greater quality than Invasion, imo, but I guess people vote for Invasion because of nostalgia.

I really wanted to vote Crush 'Em, which I think is probably a better theme in general, but I'm going to follow the precedent I set for myself with the McMahon theme battle and vote for the one that's epic/iconic and transcended beyond the character/period.

Who's Next. Just sounds a whole lot better. Much better than Invasion.

It's the kind of theme that gives you goosebumps.

You forgot this version of Invasion. It's the one he used at Backlash 2003. It's my favorite Goldberg theme.
