i enjoyed raw this week. one part that i really enjoyed was something that they did for the first time in a long time. those pre-recorded promos from HHH, HBK, & Benoit gave the show an 'old school' kind of feel. i hope they do that more in the future. it is, IMO, an excellent way to develop characters and get them over with the fans. after Benoits promo, i (for the first time) felt a connection w/ Benoit. i felt like i knew a little bit of what he was about.

i used to LOVE those kind of promos in the old days from the likes of undertaker, and jake the snake. didnt really care for hogan, or warrior promos, but i think the promos were an important part of character development.

also, what made Foley, was those 'fireside chat' pre-recorded interviews with JR. that was when a lot of people, myself included, became Mankind fans.
