Hori Fighting Stick and Mad Katz MC2 Wheel
 

Getting a new XBox a week on Monday, but I've just been informed I'm getting a decent bonus at work so I am going to PIMP MY BOX. I'm considering getting both of the above but never used them so hit me with your impressions and stuff.

Screw the Mad Katz wheel. Tell me about the official wheel/pedals. :heart:

I've been wanting to get the 360 wheel, but as soon as GT5 is out, I'm probably not gonna care for Forza 3 or any other racing game on the 360. But I do hear the MS wheel is the goods.

Too bad this wheel isn't supported on the 360...

I have two Hori EX2s that were awesomely cheap (40 each, I believe). With square gates, the are obviously better for charge characters, and the buttons are not amazing, but for the price they are certainly worth it. SRK has a modding guide for it to, in case I ever want to change out the joystick in buttons.

Playing GT5 Prologue and the TT demo on my bros PS3 over Christmas really put me off it. I think I like it a bit more casual that GT5. Still play Forza with a bunch of assists (not the big ones like auto braking, mind you)

But yeah, that wheel is bad ass. The only wheel I could find that comes close (and actually goes beyond) were the Porsche ones, but way too expensive.

Fuck it, scrapped the Hori stick too and getting a SF4 SE stick after reading the Hori ones get fucked if you're rough (which I am). Plus, the SF4 stick is recognised in Windows (hello MAME!)

I have gone a little mental with my purchasing actually.

Then picking up a play and charge kit, wireless N network adaptor, Forza 3 and SSF4 from a shop in town because they're cheaper there.

And Rock Band 2 from another site.

Also pissed off that the SF4 TE stick is only £10 more expensive, but out of stock :'(

My Hori EX2s show up in Windows. And the EX2s on Amazon have a much better rating that the SE sticks.

You should probably just mod both anyway.

Still, that was last updated a while back and everything I read says the Tekken 6 stick is better thean the SE SF4 stick... And wireless.

They have Round 2 TE SF4 sticks in the shop outside my flat. Can't justify dropping £100 on it though.

The T6 stick is also £5 cheaper.

Fuck me, just made that decision, doing all my odering tomorrow and CAG just had a deal up to get the stick for £24.99. Awesomesauce.
